Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Les Muscades. The villa was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The pool was absolutely gorgeous—immaculately clean and perfect for lazy afternoons in the sun. Our host was exceptional—warm, responsive, and always available if we needed anything. She stays discreetly on-site in a separate annex, which gave us peace of mind without ever feeling intrusive. The location is lovely and peaceful (once you get used to the cicadas chirping) with a supermarket just a 10-minute drive away. For EV drivers, there's a hyperfast charging station at the Carrefour supermarket around 20 minutes away, which made things super convenient. There are so many places to visit, all within 30 minutes drive. Avignon, with its Palais des Papes, Arles and its Roman ruins, and the absolutely stunning Les Baux-de-Prevence.
Negative: It's hard to find anything to criticise, to be honest.

Positive: A beautiful house with everything you need for a welcoming comfortable and relaxing stay. The inside of the house is beautifully decorated and the outside has a large garden with a wonderful pool and pool house with bbq. Marie Louise made us feel very welcome and was there if we needed her. We would definitely return.

Positive: The villa is well located in a quiet Provençal village that is handy to all the major towns/cities and villages that tourists would want to visit such as Arles, Avignon, St-Remy-de-Provence and more. We all really enjoyed our stay at Les Muscades, the villa was spotlessly clean, had excellent facilities including modern laundry appliances, and was well furnished and equipped for guests staying for 1 or 2 weeks. The pool was the star of the accommodation - situated toward the bottom of the large garden it was the perfect way to cool down on the hottest days of our stay. The pool bar was well equipped with a fridge, sink, storage cupboards and a bathroom with toilet + shower - avoiding the need to go in and out of the house with wet feet. The village of St Étienne-du-Grès is around a 15 minute walk from the villa on flat roads. The village itself has a few restaurants (L'Auberge du Sommellier is particularly recommended) a bar, a boulangerie and a small grocery store. There is also a pizza van that operates on the Avenue du Stade on certain evenings of the week which is only a 5 minute walk from the villa if you can't be bothered to cook or go to a restaurant. A special mention too for our friendly host Marie-Louise (and her lovely dog FiFi) who was very knowledgeable about the local area and always ready to help us with any queries we had, or for recommendations for things to see and do or restaurants to visit. She made us feel very welcome and was always at the other end of a WhatsApp message if we needed anything. Overall Les Muscades exceeded our expectations and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place as somewhere to stay when you're visiting Provence - you won't be disappointed!
