Positive: It’s a family house which is still being renovated. We stayed in the new annexe which was a large room with a high ceiling and on suite.We had our dog who enjoyed sniffing around the garden and a walk across the road . Breakfast was so nice. Charles is a lovely guy and has had hotel experience Well done !!
Negative: A little hard to find as a quick sharp turn into driveway. Sadly the pool was closed. The road is busy as a short cut for the lorry’s but at night no sound.Nowhere to eat :drink so bring your own

Positive: Plenty of sunloungers and à big garden to relax and enjoy our picnic. The bed was comfortable, would have preferred à duvet rather than sheets and blankets. The kettle was lovely to have.. The property will be great when actually finished. The house is on a busy road but thankfully the windows keep out the road noise, fortunately the weather was cool and we did not need to have them open for the night.Breakfast was adequate , shame it was raining so had to eat indoors in the family kitchen.
Negative: The house is a rénovation project. Access to our room was via an unfinished staircase with bare plaster on walls and stairs but it was safe.. Room was basic but comfortable, only notices pinned to the walls . The shower had some mould, no soap or shower gel supplied. Many things lacked attention to détail. Overpriced for basic facilities, and swimming pool not open.

Positive: We booked this accommodation based on existing reviews and were not disappointed. Our room was spacious and quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We’d pre-arranged with Charles to have a meal on the evening of arrival and it was delicious. All three courses were packed with flavour and the wine Charles paired with it was lovely. Charles is extremely personable and speaks good English, which was great as we speak very little French. If we’re ever in the region again we will definitely look to stay again.
