Madam Fanny was an exceptional host — incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to share helpful information about the local area and attractions to see. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. The breakfast was amazing, with a great variety and lovely presentation. The building itself is beautiful and full of charm. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

Positive: Lovely cosy & homely hotel run by Madam Fanny (who ran the place on her own) and was the most convivial and friendly host. She made us most welcome, and couldn't do enough to ensure our comfort and enjoy our stay. The lovely pool was a bonus after a long day travelling, and drinks on the terrace a welcome end to the day.

Negative: Difficult to find anything we didn't like, but although breakfast was lovely, and we opted for a late(r) start the (greedy) guests before us had finished all the Croissants - but that was probably our own fault for being so lazy....

Positive: Charming, delightful & comfortable; I slept like a baby in a sumptuous room and had a delicious breakfast in their lovely garden.

Negative: There was no air con in my room, but as the hotel is a beautiful old building with high ceilings it was perfectly comfortable and I slept like a baby.

Summary: Perfection. The nicest hotel I’ve stayed in. France’s best.

Positive: The hotel is really easy to find with excellent parking alongside, absolutely gorgeous building. Meals were FABULOUS. We visited in Winter, and the rooms were warm and cosy. In summer this property would be an extra special place with the verandahs and swimming pool. We particularly enjoyed the small well mannered cat who lives there, her presence is optional but loved having her company at breakfast.

Summary: What a gem; loved this hotel.
