Positive: Our host was extremely welcoming and helpful even offering to help carry our cases from the car and also booking supper for us in an excellent local restaurant. Les volets violets is a great place to take a break if your travelling down to Spain as it is just five kilometres from the motorway in a beautiful little peaceful village.

Positive: We arrived in searing heat, so the air conditioning was very welcome. They booked us an evening meal nearby. Very comfortable room. Breakfast was good, particularly the boiled eggs- don't miss them.

Positive: In a quiet area but very convenient for motorway to/from North West Spain and Portugal. Friendly hosts and an excellent room. At our request the hosts booked a table at a local restaurant for our evening meal

Negative: Steep steps down to front door; well lit but difficult for anyone with mobility issues
