If you are looking for a unique, eclectic, fun place to get away, welcome to ruby's rental!!! Walk just 3.5 blocks to downtown historic Ste Genevieve, Mo. We require a two night minimum for the weekends.
Come for the weekend, relax, stroll, drink wine, and eat lunch with Ruby' big sister Stella at "Stella and Me"café.
Explore great shops like Eden Farms and Friends, across from Stella's.
Other "must visit" locations: Sweet Things Sweet Shop, Show Me Shop, European Entitlements and more. We have few new boutiques in town, (Bella Ever After, and Queen Anne's Lace) I sell some of my favorite lines of gifts at Eden Farms, Steiger Jewelry and Rustic Sand Candles across from the Orris are also favorite shops.
Rubies rental has one bedroom (sleeps-2), a sleeping loft (sleeps-2), and a "Charlie Thomas original Murphy Bed (sleeps-2) in the living room.

Summary: This cute, artsy cottage is perfect for a girls getaway. We loved all the people we met, the shops, restaurants, and beautiful flowers.

Summary: The trains are a big deal, disruptive to sleep. Place was decorated on a budget but very cute, loved the color pallette. Hot tub was nice.

Summary: Girls trip. We enjoyed the place, decor is great and it was set up perfectly for the 4 of us. We had an issue with cleanliness and at first got an odd response but received a more appropriate response the next day. We slept fine (visited the wineries ) but the trains moving and connecting are definitely LOUD. We’d stay again but definitely not with kids.

Summary: Simple, cozy, eclectic, and private! Perfect for those looking for something that is not your typical hotel scene. Walking distance to Ste. Gen's historic district. If you are a fan of trains, then this is a perfect place to see, observer, and hear. The hot tub was perfect. Looking forward to a return trip during one of Ste. Genevieve's "events" weekend.

Summary: Absolutely stunning stay. Nothing to complain about. Loved the home, host was a good communicator and the location is prime. Train didn’t bother us at all! Actually, the conductor would honk the horn and wave at our son.

Summary: This is an older home with a veneer of “rustic”. Not the best place I’ve ever stayed, but certainly not the worst. The hot tub is nice, especially after a day of walking around Ste. Genevieve. The house is near the historic area which was very convenient. There is a Union Pacific switching terminal just down from the house and there was a lot of train activity while we were there. That wouldn’t be so bad during the day, if you are out sight seeing. However, they were active well after 11 pm while we were there, making sleep difficult at times.

Summary: VERY CLEAN, cute, perfect size for 1-4 people, if you don’t mind sharing space, which was perfect for us! Only downside was it’s right across from train tracks. Only heard them until about 9pm but they were really loud. Ate at Ruby’s sisters place Stella and Me, great food!
