Take a step back in time & stay at The Breeze! This newly renovated unit offers a unique & cozy retreat for guests seeking a blend of nostalgia & comfort. Once a bustling hub for travelers, this roadside service station/restaurant was built in the late 1930's. Conveniently located right off the main highway just minutes to the interstate & less than a 10 minute drive to town. Lots of outdoor space to enjoy, cozy up to the fire pit or grill on the deck. Perfect for a weekend getaway or longer!
As you enter this carefully curated space, you'll find vintage decor along with retro touches that evoke the charm of yesteryear, while also being equipped with modern amenities to ensure a comfortable stay.
You'll enter the property through the back deck door by keyless entry. Upon entering you'll see the brand new washer/dryer available for use.
Kitchen: As you walk into the kitchen you'll notice the charming retro style appliances & counters. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking basics. There is a Keurig with some coffee pods and coffee condiments provided. There is also a small coffee pot available if you prefer to bring your own favorite brew. Additional appliances: toaster, toaster oven and milkshake blender.
Living Room: After a busy day exploring the areas attractions cozy up on the comfy couch and watch your favorite shows on the 65" smart TV. Or if you prefer, grab a book or game provided in the TV console. Make sure to check out the original photos of The Breeze framed on the wall!
Bedrooms: There are 2 bedrooms one with a queen bed and one with a king bed. In each room there are 32" smart TV's, lamps with USB charging, room darkening curtain panels & oscillating fans. There are also luggage racks located in the second bedroom.
Bathroom: Full bathroom with tub and beautiful vintage style tile surround. Shower dispenser with shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.
Outdoor Space: Outside you'll find a spacious deck where you can unwind. Plenty of backyard space to stretch your legs or play a yard game. Fire up the propane grill for a barbecue or sit outside with the ambient lighting and look at the stars. Make your way to the cozy fire pit area and sit in one of the hammock chairs or take a rest in the hammock. Start the fire with a click of a button on the propane fire pit & enjoy the evening!
You'll have access to the entire unit described, this is not the entire building. This is the only unit completed. The other unit is vacant and there is no construction going on. You will be the only one staying on the property and have full access to the outside areas mentioned and the backyard.
There is one step to get onto the deck and also a small step in the entryway. The rest of the space is one level.

Summary: The property was clean, spacious and inviting. The host had everything ready for our arrival early. We arrived to news of a severe storm but the hostess’s communicated with us several times to make sure we felt comfortable and safe. Would definitely book again.

Summary: This place is immaculate! Very comfortable and nicely decorated. The home was sufficiently stocked with all the necessities. Carrie the owner kindly provided snacks for us to enjoy during our stay, the root beer was really good! The location was great since we were spending time in Ste Genevieve. I would definitely recommend this home for your vacation.

Summary: This was our first of many stays on a 3 week trip. The bar was set very high for the next stops to compete with. Which we have not stayed anywhere else even coming as close to be as clean or as nice as the breeze. The friendly, communicative host was very easy to work with. The house was very clean and organized and had everythingwe needed. It presented itself very well from the beautiful facade to the host even having a snack bowl on the counter. The location was perfect for trips into Sainte Genevieve or longer runs into St. Louis. You will be quite pleased if you book a stay here at The Breeze. The

Summary: We were in town for a wedding. This place was perfect. Beautifully decorated and super clean! Carrie has thought of everything. The kitchen is well appointed. The bathroom has a generous number of towels, there is an iron and ironing board, and plenty of luggage racks.Each room even has a full length mirror.

Summary: I enjoyed my stay at Carrie’s property. The unit was spacious and clean. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Also enjoyed the table and chairs on the deck and the fire pit area. Carrie was quick to answer the couple of questions I had and I would stay here again if I come back to the area. I will note that the property is on somewhat of a busy road so there is some road noise but it is wasn’t an issue for me.
