Tired of trudging up and down steps!? Then come and enjoy this well-maintained home that sits on a year-round, deep water level lot. There are twenty steps from the basement to the level back yard that leads to the lake and double deck dock.
The two-slip double deck dock is accessed via a concrete ramp. The upper level is a 600+ sq ft sun deck with lounge chairs, dining table with umbrella, and water slide. There are also two kayaks and a paddle board for your use.
The main level of the house has two master bedrooms with private baths, a vaulted great room with open loft, and a kitchen/dining area. Enjoy the views from the vaulted great room with a wood burning fireplace. Kids can get away and play games in the open loft overlooking great room. Attached to the kitchen are the screened porch (16x16) and grilling deck. This home is over 3000 sq ft in size.
Downstairs consists of a large great room with HDTV, surround sound and various TV streaming options. Three additional bedrooms, a gaming area, washer/dryer and the third bathroom round out the basement. There are also video games (Nintendo NES Classic Edition and SNES Classic Edition), foosball table, Blu-Ray/DVD player, and a second refrigerator.
Our community includes a concrete paved boat launch just a half mile from our house. It is a 10 minute drive to the main road and a total of 15 minutes to the Food Lion Market.
Bring your iPhone or other music player to play on the whole-house audio system. The master bedroom, great room, kitchen, and screen porch are wired for stereo with separate volume controls. Additionally, high-speed Wi-Fi internet is now available!
Enjoy the firepit and seating area in the backyard!
The closest marinas are Springs Dock or Flat Hollow Marina. They are about ten minutes away by boat. Please note that we DO NOT list on any Craigslist site. Any such listing is fraudulent.

Summary: We had a fantastic week relaxing and enjoying the lake. Close to a no-wake zone which made swimming fun and safe. The house is clean and modern with all the amenities we needed like a well appointed kitchen, washer/dryer, a screened in porch, and firepit. The kids loved the kayaks, paddleboard, and slide. The property owner is very responsive! We never stay in the same rental twice but we'd consider it for this home.

Summary: I hesitate to give this place a glowing review because it will always be booked and unavailable on a return trip! The house is a fantastic location on the water with plenty of places for your group to hang out if you’re tired of boating or if the weather isn’t cooperating. Communication with host was easy and prompt. Would definitely come back!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this house. It is exactly as advertised. We loved the easy walk to the dock. The huge dock with 2 covered slips was great. The cove was quiet and peaceful. The screened in porch and the balcony off the master were both nice places to relax. We also liked the speakers throughout the house. It was super easy to connect our music. There is a pretty stained glass window in the master bathroom. The road to the house was very narrow and a little tricky for towing a boat but we did not meet any other cars, so it was fine. The owner was super responsive. We have been visiting Norris for almost 20 years and this was our favorite house😀

Summary: The house was lovely, although we spent the majority of the time on the awesome dock! Thanks for the kyacks, etc. screened porch was great in the AM. The windows looking down on the lake were perfect! The children must have jumped off the dock or slide down the slide over a hundred times. We all had a wonderful week!

Summary: We had an amazing stay at this property. We have been to Norris Lake once before and we really enjoyed this portion of the lake. It’s very close to several marinas and resorts, but it is just far enough away to have a very private feel. The nature preserve on the other side of the cove that the house is located in also helps it to feel more secluded and the views off the dock are beautiful. We typically have a boat only for a potion of our trip and the days we were without it were spent on the amazing dock, swimming and using the slide, paddle board and kayaks. We also loved the fire pit area in the yard. In our opinion, the listing pictures of the inside of the house don’t do it justice in terms of the layout. The kitchen and dining area offer great views of the beautiful backyard, lake and dock and the space opens up into the great room with the vaulted ceilings and loft. It was perfect and allowed everyone to interact while cooking. As noted in another review, the lower level has a wonderful set-up and layout for a family. We really enjoyed the gaming space and the foosball table. We had no complaints during our stay, and anything minor we noted was quickly addressed by the owner. We will be back!
