Summary: We had a lovely holiday in Wildberg. The house was very well appointed and the owner was very helpful and friendly. The view from the house was even better than the pictures on the web site. There was a visitors hand book with lots of useful information about places to visit. The car was a necessity, we had a great time exploring the Schwarzwald from a super base! Local supermarkets were also within a few minutes drive. Many thanks Uli!

Summary: After 24 hours we had gotten used to everything and just loved the place, with lots of peace and quiet, more than enough space for four, and the loveliest view imaginable. We were taken by surprise in finding 50 steps up to the house, but in such a hilly (and therefore beautiful) region, this is not unusual. The hosts were very friendly and we immediately felt at home. The beds were comfortable and once you get used to the kitchen lay-out, this has a charm of its own. We were so busy we didn't even try the sauna. The 2 km walk to the lake over the fields is an absolute must and gives a good impression of the village. A visit to nearby Calw (birthplace of Herman Hesse) is another must if you are at all into medieval city centres and their charm. This is also a good location for taking the kids to the indoor Sensapolis amusement park in Sindelfingen.

Summary: When we arrived we were greeted by the land lady and given the keys. The appartment was clean and had all the essential amenities. We did not have access to a car but the bus stop is not far and the buses are always on time. The bus drivers are also very kind. There is a place where we could order food and some nice restaurants in the next town. On the whole we had a good time and we were looked after very well. Uli and Frau Knodler were all really nice and very helpful.

Summary: We were met when we arrived and promptly shown the apartment and all of it's features. Departing for an early morning flight was just as easy. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. It is spacious and warmly furnished. It can easily suit large families. The description of the property is very accurate. You definitely need a car if you stay here. Parking on the street is not an issue. The town is nice and the surrounding views are very pleasant. It's close enough to Stuttgart to access all the tourist interests, yet far enough away to have a peaceful relaxing stay in the country. We were able to access, Lichtenstein, Hohenzollern, Ludwigsburg, Solitude, and Heidelberg castles with just short drives. We also visited Dachau, Rothenberg on der Tauber, Baden-Baden, Rubble Hill, and the Rittersport chocolate factory. There were many other attractions reasonably close by that we could've visited if we were staying longer. The apartment is defnitely capable of accommodating a long visit. The local markets are nice. While we ate at a few local restaurants, the apartment made eating in very easy. There are several local shopping malls within a short drive. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends and family. I would very much like to stay here again if we come to the Stuttgart area.
