Situated at the end of a road with unmatched privacy, this lovely property boasts an airy, open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, and expansive views of Great Island and Wellfleet Harbor beyond. Spend your days on the sandy beach accessed directly via a private boardwalk and stairway off the main deck. Savor evenings with family and friends dining on the expansive outdoor deck while watching spectacular harbor sunsets! 6 bedrooms includes a bunk room, and amenities include ductless AC in the living room and all bedrooms, washer/dryer, and (with owner approval) you may even bring your pet! The main floor holds the kitchen, family room, and dining room. This floor also holds the primary bedroom with queen bed and En Suite bath with walk in shower, a room with a queen, a room with a twin (twins are extra long), and an office with a pull out sleeper sofa (full). Both main floor bathrooms were renovated in 2022. Climb the spiral stairs to the additional primary bedroom with queen bed and En Suite bath with walk in shower. Just above this in the loft you will find two twin beds with trundles (4 total twin mattresses). Available for 3 night minimums off season with an added cleaning fee. Cleaning fee included in bookings of 7 nights or more. An administrative fee and applicable taxes may apply. Linens not provided. Guests may rent linens or bring their own.

Summary: We had a really good stay in this rental. The view of the bay from the back deck is absolutely stunning -- maybe the best in Wellfleet. The deck has a large seating area around a dining table, which is covered by a roof, an adjacent sunny area with chairs and chaises, and a well maintained boardwalk that leads directly onto the beach. Also an outdoor shower, which was very popular. All of this made for a really nice and beautiful outdoor experience. The interior is large, especially the family room area and kitchen. The upstairs master suite is large with a nice-sized bathroom and a private deck. The views are beautiful from there. The other rooms were fine. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and all the cooking implements you would need. And there is a grill. Our only complaint was the water supply to the house. The write-up at the house stated clearly that drinking the tap water was not recommended because of the house's proximity to the Chequessett Golf Club. This should have been disclosed, so that people can factor in the time, trouble and expense of buying bottled water. We wish we had known this in advance, and would have preferred that the real estate agent had not spent time insisting that the water was fine -- just a small matter of taste. It wasn't drinkable. If we had understood this in advance, it would not have affected our decision to rent the house, but we would have been prepared. But otherwise, great. Otherwise, this is a fabulous spot.

Summary: My family and I had a wonderful two week stay at this bayside home. The location is excellent with sweeping views of the bay and the dramatic daily tidal shifts of 12 feet! We rented a sunfish and paddle-boards which we could launch from the property. The house layout is conducive to seeing the view from the kitchen/great room. We would return!

Summary: What a spectacular view! Waking up and having coffee on the deck, walking on the beach and kayaking were a few highlights. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, having every utensil imaginable. One downside was that the mattresses were not up to par considering the cost of the rental. Several people woke up with back problems from sleeping on “prison” like mattresses. Several adults had to use two mattresses leaving one person without a mattress. The owners could furnish each bed with a luxury mattress for a fifth of one week’s rent. It must be said that the master suite was referred to as the Taj Mahal due to its beauty and comfort. The only other negative thing was that the drinking water tasted terrible and we had to buy all of our drinking water. In summary, replace all of the mattresses except the master bedroom and you will receive five stars.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The check in policy is ridiculous we waited in parking lot perhaps 7 other families til they opened at 3:45 and give you nothing more than an envelope and that had only 2 pieces of paper in it. The ride is long then to wait is very unwelcoming. I kept asking if they supplied linens they kept repeating only blanket mattress pads so I spent lots to rent sheets. It had plenty of towels and sheets. Not consistent with info.

Summary: The property is beautiful and is perfect for an isolated getaway. They also allow dogs which was wonderful. The VRBO says linens are included and they weren't. That was the fault of the property manager not the property owner. We had a lovely time with swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding not to mention just being lazy in the comfy house.
