Summary: I was incredibly impressed by this hotel! It is a timewarp back to the 80's, and I have to admit, I was a little nervous at first, but the longer I stayed, the more I loved this hotel. The decor is the same as it was when it originally opened, but it is SO INCREDIBLY CLEAN and well taken care of! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the staff was wonderful. Restaurant on site is also great- a true step back in time and I loved it! You can tell the owners care for and love this hotel.

Summary: Just a quick overnight for a concert, the staff throughout the building was very nice and helpful. The property isn't the newest but a well kept representation of the tourist heyday of the area and close to many amenities and a decent sized city for all of your needs.

Summary: We stayed in May 2026. The room is nothing fancy but was adequate for our stay. Rooms are mostly in original condition and are kept clean. As any hotel on the older side, they come with older hotel smells, not unique to this hotel. The rate matched what we were expecting. The lobby still has great charm. The location and views are awesome. We had dinner and breakfast. Both evening staff and morning staff were attentive and hard working. We had the perch for dinner with baked potato and apple custard cheese cake for dinner - all were delicious and served promptly. We had the included pancakes and eggs for breakfast, and they are really good fresh portions. We used the hot tub (temp was as it should be) and the pool which was enjoyable. We did not use the pool bathrooms as they were pretty dark and dated. The outside was beautiful. Only real issue was that the back door, close to our room was left unlocked all night so anyone without a key can access the place at anytime. We never felt unsafe, but it should be standard to keep anyone not staying on the property out. We would stay again when we come back to the area. Cheers.

Summary: Older furnishings but sufficient for a weekend visit. I love being on Lake Michigan. Having a restaurant in house is very convenient, and the food is great. Special meals for holidays.

Summary: Beautiful restaurant on the lake. Super friendly staff. 7 50 dollar discount for brunch. Was there on Easter Sunday. It was amazing. Will definitely be my go to place in Manitowoc.
