Positive: Very helpful staff, fantastic location with a view. Note: property is in the old town, which means no taxi access; and it is at the top of a hill, i.e. with some steps to reach. However, these are good points for us as it is central, yet secluded. Room cleanliness not 100% but good enough.

Negative: When the taxi driver phoned the hotel someone came to take me. Apparently I was taken to a different hotel! Only when I asked they told me briefly that there was some kind of over booking issue. I did not receive any compensation. I booked a place based on reviews telling that there were English speaking staff in the hotel. In the place I was taken to there were no English speakers. The host did his best and the room was ok even though it did not have the promised mountain view.

Positive: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lijiang Mountain View Boutique Inn during my trip to Li Jiang, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment I arrived, Sami greeted me with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality, making me feel right at home. She even walked out to the old town to personally pick me up to walk me back to the inn because she was worried I would get lost. Accommodation: My room was spacious, very clean and had a nice tub in the middle on the first floor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. I especially appreciated that the second floor room opened up to a small rooftop balcony. There were also really nice communal spaces littered throughout the accommodation. Sami and her family spent some evenings with us in the tea room where she very warmly shared stories and we had great conversations over traditional chinese tea! Sami even organized a barbeque on site where we ordered in a whole lamb to grill. On days we wanted to order in, Sami never hesitated to help us. She also sat down with us for dinner and played the guitar for entertainment. Location: The inn was also located in a very central location, right smack in the middle of the historical town and provided easy access to all the nearby attractions. Service: What truly sets Lijiang Mountain View Boutique Inn apart is their outstanding customer service. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests and ensure my stay was comfortable. My father had an emergency medical situation but Sami and her staff never once complained about the disruptions. They tended to my father very well to make sure he was well taken care off; they even made it a point to check on him every few hours. In the wee hours, they even woke to coordinate ambulance and medical services. I am forever grateful for their help.

Positive: Beautiful location, toilet was clean, room was big, mountain view, family of 8 enjoyed their stay. we had privacy because each room was separated. hosts were v friendly and helpful. they helped us to shift our luggages because there were many stairs. Location was perfect. Really loved this place and couldn’t recommend enough ❤️
