Recent guests have said this is like a 'treehouse! The property is part of Cochrans Cabins which is nestled on over twenty wooded acres at the end of the road, on the waters edge of Lake Kiwassa within the Saranac Chain of Lakes. Within 10 miles is the Olympic Village of Lake Placid. Also in the area is hiking, boating, fishing, skiing, etc.

Summary: My husband and I had our first short getaway as empty-nesters…and this was the perfect spot to unwind and re-connect! Just a lovely, wooded location with the view of the lake through the trees. Loved sitting on the dock by the water as well. We didn’t partake in any activities as we had our dog with us, but we hope to visit again and get out and about as there is so much to do in the area. Thank for for accommodating us!
