Interiors are stylish and beautifully presented offering excellent accommodation for eight guests in five bedrooms. This pet friendly property has a large garden with sea views and off road parking.
Port Eynon is one of the prettiest coastal destinations on the Gower Peninsular, a popular holiday hotspot with a cafe, shop, restaurant and soft sandy beach. With easy access from Swansea, this area is perfect for a relaxing weekend away at any time of year.

Summary: Lilac house is a great place to base yourself when staying in the Gower. The house is really relaxing and has everything you need for a self catering stay. Rhosilli and Oxwich bay are close by and the beach in Port Eynon is a short walk from the house. We booked through Vrbo, but the property is managed by Home from Home with a local office in the Gower. There was a miscommunication between the 2 agencies as we had booked via Vrbo for somewhere to stay with a dog. This wasn’t relayed and we had an extra bill for the dog (something to check on when booking). Otherwise a perfect stay.

Summary: This is a really well appointed property situated in a quiet village less than half a mile from Port Eynon. The house is very well furnished with tasteful interior design and big garden with a sun house and a picnic area. The sitting room is spacious but cosy and the kitchen is incredibly well equipped with everything that might be needed for a self-catered stay. The bedrooms are spacious and we all found the beds really comfortable - we all slept well. There is a bathroom upstairs and a shower room downstairs both nicely appointed with touch-of-a-button hot water. The dining room would easily accommodate 8 people. This is a lovely house and the only issue we had was that the television reception was very poor - in fact we could only watch BBC1 or BBC2 as the signal for all other channels kept cutting in and out. That said, it by no means affected our views of the property and we would gladly return there for future holidays. Well recommended.
