Positive: The apartment was very spacious, as there were 5 adults and one one-year-old child. The location along the canal was excellent. It was very quiet and the sounds of the nearby road did not reach the apartment at all. The apartment was well equipped and we would have stayed longer. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The terraces of the apartment were cozy and the view was nice, directly on the canal. It was especially great that even though our room was not ready when we arrived, we were able to use all the other hotel services. For example, the beach was really nice and we also went paddling with the hotel's free canoes.
Negative: Check-in could have been earlier. We didn't really have time to enjoy the apartment, as we only got it after 3pm. This was already early, normally you don't get your room until 4pm. We also thought check-out was too early, at 11am. But this seems to be the practice everywhere these days.

Positive: The style of the room, the location and the facilities were excellent. I am unsure if the bar that was within the same area was part of the hotel but that was perfect on the evening. Breakfast took a little bit longer than expected but still fine.
Negative: The shower in our room did not work and when we reported it at Reception we were instructed to contact the maintenance team by telephoning from our room. However, the telephone also did not work and when we reported it to advise that we were leaving there didn't appear to be much interest.
Summary: Comofrtable stay in a stunning location, if the weather is good

Positive: The views were beautiful, comfortable beds, very friendly and helpful! Also had a good restaurant and bar on the resort
Negative: Bathrooms were small and had no place to set out toiletries. Rooms had only enough to set out 1 suitcase at a time.

Positive: The pool area and beach were beautiful! Plenty of lounge chairs and activities such as kayaks, bikes etc.
Negative: We stayed in a 3 bedroom townhome. It was oddly remodeled with lots of old furniture and poorly done remodeling. The master bath toilet was falling through the floor. It must be leaking into the kitchen ceiling as it was bowed down. The floors themselves in all bathrooms were uneven. The entire place smelled very musty, moldy. it was an extremely old townhome that needs a lot of attention. There was a rat trap on the upper balcony.
Summary: We enjoyed the outside grounds on the hotel side. I would not recommend staying in the townhomes!
