Positive: The staff were incredible. Even helped us find owls and bush babies in the evening. The food was really good . The gardens just incredibly beautiful. Very easy to visit Panorama route, but would have liked to just spend a day in the gardens without visiting surroundings!

Positive: Highly recommend this place! The lodge is immersed in wonderful nature with trees, flowers and lots of birds, beautiful and relaxing. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and freshly prepared every morning, there are few options from which you can choose which cover both sweet and salty. We also had dinner (must be paid separately) which is highly recommended, we had our best tenderloin and chicken curry of our stay in South Africa! Most importantly: the hosts are extremely nice and attentive, and gave us a lot of tips and recommendations for our stay.
Negative: Small note: there is ca. 1km off road to get to the place, so better to have a SUV car or go slow.

Positive: The location is really beautiful especially during the day.
Negative: We only reached late at night and had to leave for a safari early morning. There was a gentlemen who helped us in with our bags and was very kind however as we were checking in we felt the person at the reception was quite rude and unfriendly. We asked for a packed breakfast due to the safari in the morning(they did that so well for us) which we suspected might end later than our checkout time and we had already made plans to vacate the room before leaving, but the person at the reception kept saying ' I don't want you to fight with me incase you come late and find your belongings outside'. I understand they may have had a bad experience before hence felt the need to warn us but it was so late at night, we were tired and still tried to be polite however didn't receive the same in return. We still managed to return before the check out time only to find that the rooms were already being cleaned and we felt horrible that we had to use the restrooms when it had already been cleaned. They could've waited till after 10. We booked 4 rooms all together, 2 of them were okay but the other two had SO MANY BUGS. We genuinely could not use those bathrooms at all. We didn't feel like bringing it up with them due to how the reception was earlier. Anyways, just a heads up incase you're staying with kids.

Positive: Beautiful property, with really attentive staff. The bed was very comfortable and the pool area was beautifully located. Lovely a la carte breakfast!
Negative: Dinner was not an option on the night we booked; however, great restaurant (Tanks Bush Bar) just up the road. Only rating less than 10, as the price is a bit too high for what the accommodation offers, in relation to other accommodation we have experienced in South Africa.
