Summary: We stayed in this house several times. And we always happy to come back. It feels like home. There are three bedrooms with comfortable beds . A kitchen has all equipment that you need. And you have opportunity to have a rest in a cool place after a hot beach, because the weather in Waimea always little cooler than on the beach. Lisa is a great host . She helps us with any questions.

Summary: We were on Hawaii Island for a family birthday / luau. With us were family members who had never been to Hawaii before. Lio Ka Hale was perfect for our needs. Lise was very responsive to any questions. We had everything we needed, including a toolbox, which came in very handy for repairing a wheel chair we brought with us! We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: We loved staying at the this lovely Waimea property. This was the most well appointed vacation rental we have ever rented. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen that had everything we needed. We rented a condo at one of the resorts after we left The Horse House that was more expensive, and not nearly as stylish, and they didn’t even provide coffee filters. We would definitely rent this beautiful, clean and comfortable home again.

Summary: The stay here was excellent! Located in the Waimea area, this location provided great access to hike Mauna Kea, visit beaches along the Kohala coast and enjoy Waimea itself. Lise was very responsive in communicating with us when needed. The house is clean and stocked with kitchen needs. What a great find for us!
