Positive: The cottage was clean and tidy, and the bed very comfy which i find very important. The place was quiet and very peaceful perfect for unwinding. The location was ideally suited for visits to Knole,Chartwell and Hever castle etc. There are some nice walks nearby,and on one of these walks i was startled by a herd of fallow deer in a copse.

Positive: Lovely warm welcome, friendly neighbours and very clean inside. Well equipped kitchen with everything needed and a luxurious bathroom and linens included. Comfy superking bed for a great nights sleep. So peaceful and quiet, was worth the extra travel to stay here.

Negative: Cream Carpets isn't as dog friendly as it could have been, especially in the hallway and surrounded by beautiful but muddy paths. Also had an inter connecting door to the suite next door, as a solo traveler didn't make me feel as safe.

Positive: Great location, a well equipped kitchen and the bed was comfortable. Nice quirky little property, very dark and quiet at night.

Negative: The kitchen door opened onto what appeared to be the main steps down from the big house, and this got quite noisy at times. We had trouble with other guests peering in the glass panel in the kitchen door, and even trying to open the door and come in! The dining chairs and breakfast stools were really wobbly: flimsy and badly assembled.
