Summary: Roy is super nice and it was easy to communicate with him as he would respond quickly to any questions. The neighbors on both sides of him are super friendly and the neighbors boxer had a good time hanging out and playing with our dog. It is a quiet little neighborhood. Hope to get back soon. Summary: We spent a month here to get away from the northern winter and it was great! We loved the river, the trees, the huge variety of birds and the quiet. Roy’s affordable, get-away-from-it-all cabin is located in a tiny neighborhood of mostly second homes along the Little Peedee River. It’s spacious, comfortable and nicely appointed. It’s a little out of the way but not a bad drive to Conway and Myrtle Beach. It was a good place to experience some real Southern hospitality. Roy was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. We won’t hesitate to come back!

Summary: I really enjoyed the property with my two boys. They had so much fun fishing on the floating dock. Even though they didn't catch anything the piece they experienced was refreshing. I made sure to sign the guest book and Roy was such a pleasant person to finally meet in person.

Summary: We booked Roy's cabin for a month to escape the snow. Roy was there to greet us and show us around when we arrived. He was VERY helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We ended up with a flat tire and he got us connected with the repair shop close by. It was fixed within an hour! The neighborhood is quiet with just a few cars coming and going. Easy to get in a daily walk if that's your thing. The water is steps away from the cabin. It has a large screen porch. The furnishings are homey and comfortable. Everything worked as expected. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to relax, or a place to stay that's handy to Myrtle Beach/Conway/Florence, you won't be disappointed. We REALLY enjoyed our time here. And Roy was a perfect host.
