Driving conditions! Be careful in the winter, especially coming from the airport to Livingston. Through the mountain pass road conditions can change drastically! The road can be fine and dry one second and then sheer ice around the next corner! Use caution! Keep slow, give sand trucks and plows their space. Keep headlights on at all times. Do not use cruise control. Don’t pass anyone. They guy driving slow in front of you may know something you don’t. Please be cautious!
All seasons in Montana… animals! They’re everywhere! Deer, antelope, skunks, you name it! And they don’t care at all to just jump out in front of your vehicle. Always keep watch! If you see any animals about to cross the road, stop to let them. Put your hazard lights on so that people know not to just pass you! If you’re driving and someone flashes their headlights at you, they are either telling you to turn on your headlights or they are warning you that you are heading towards something in the road. Slow down and be cautious!
Livingston gets some wind. Be careful when opening any and all doors and never leave the home with windows open. If that wind gets a little rain with it, it can cause significant damage blowing through an open window.
