Positive: Everything was great ! From the house to the location to the facilitaties and the wonderful owners ! The owners, also being farmers, were enthusiastic for us to see the cows being let out into the fields for the first time after the winter in the sheds and then led us round to see and feed the other animals. We, as an adult group, staying here, loved it . But there were also family groups staying in their other accommodation, and they were brilliant with the children who were so excited to be helping the animals. The facilities are brilliant ! A large games and entertainment room which was well equipped, a modern and well put together gym , and a fantastic pool and hot tub area ! Before arriving, i was dubious about how well equipped the kitchen would be . With the house we stayed in , sleeping 12, I decided to take a lot of things with me like utensils and pans. But there was no need . They had thought of practically everything you may need to be able to cater for 12 people. If you want to support local hard-working people and not big corporate chains , this is the place to go. You can clearly see this family farm and business is loved , well looked after, and the soul of the local community . Beautiful people , beautiful place , will 100 % recommend .
