After extensive renovation Maple Spring located at 25137 Walden Road, Abingdon, VA has been renting to happy guests since 2009. $165.00 is the daily rental amount for two guests. ***There is an additional $75.00 charge per night for each additional guest. (Yes, children are included in the count.)*** The inn is completely furnished, and professionally decorated. Original structure was built in 1865 with addition and total renovation in 2009. Enjoy the tranquil country setting from the spacious covered porch - complete with ceiling fans and rocking chairs. Offering four bedrooms. Jet tubs in two of the bathrooms, clawfoot tub and shower in the other. One bedroom available on the main level. One king size bed, two full size beds, two twin beds. All linens are furnished. Fully equipped kitchen. Xfinity cable TV & WI-FI. 3000 square feet of living space for your enjoyment. All situated on 21 picturesque acres. Great location only 3.5 miles from the heart of downtown Abingdon, VA. Available for short term rental only. Two day minimum. No pets, no smoking.
***Please note there are cats on the property. They are feral and have never been inside. I am allergic to cats. You will however, sometimes see them on the porches. Guests will be required to feed the cats during your stay. Cat food is provided at the house. If the cats are a problem do not book a stay here.***

Summary: My friend and I stayed 2 nights and definitely will be going back. Our host was very thorough, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. We knew exactly what to expect throughout and had nothing but great interactions with her. The property is lovely, located in the gorgeous, winding country roads of Abingdon. The house is charming and very comfortable with lots of fascinating history. The weather was beautiful so we spent a lot of time of the front porch with the stray cats, who are little charmers all on their own. We went into town for dinner and shopping (lots of neat shops -- check out Zephyr's for antiques). Went to The Girl and The Raven for breakfast. Strenuously recommend! Truly couldn't have been a better experience all 'round.

Summary: This charming and comfortable restored/updated farmhouse has interesting antiques and vintage items throughout the house. The 3 bathrooms are roomy and conveniently located. The 4 bedrooms are comfortable. The updated kitchen has ample dishes and cookware. There ate also some very inviting outside areas. It's also just minutes away from Barter Theater. I highly recommend it!

Summary: Wonderful place to stay. Huge home with all the extra things you want to enjoy while on vac. Tubs were jetted and extra large. Beds were cozy. Would come back again, but this time with more folks. This 4 bed 3bath was much more that the 2 of us really needed. You will LOVE IT!

Summary: I could go on and on about how great this property is and how wonderful Donna is, but I think everyone else has already said that. This beautiful property was built in the 1800s and has history with her family. The house has a story and honestly, made it extra special. It was also very nice to come get a hot bath in a whirlpool jetted tub after running 34 miles on the Virginia Creeper Trail. I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you’re going to Abingdon. It was a great, peaceful place to be with my friends post-race.

Summary: A very special cottage and wonderful relaxing retreat. The bedrooms were all very nicely appointed. The bathrooms are all updated with high end and modern fixtures. The kitchen was stocked with supplies better than I have at home. The porch is wonderful with serene views of the local landscape. I could go on and on but I don't see how this cottage could be any better that its current state. We hope to stay again next year!!
