Lake Toxaway luxury awaits in Thunder Bear Ranch. Sleeping 8, this stunning four-bedroom, the four-and-a-half-bath home offers plenty of room for everyone. After an eventful day, guests can recharge in one of the many sleeping quarters, from the king-sized bed, one of the three queens, or the bunk bed set in the finished basement.
The living room provides fantastic views from the floor-to-ceiling windows, and guests can relax on the spacious half-moon-style couch. The space is completed with an impressive stone-stacked fireplace. Enjoy meal prep in the fully equipped kitchen, with stainless steel appliances, and gather your family to dine at the eight-person table with additional seating at the counter.
Thunder Bear Ranch includes a game room with a television, board games, and a shuffleboard table for evening entertainment.
Take advantage of the great outdoors from the spacious wrap-around deck. Complete with lounge furniture, guests can feel truly relaxed and enjoy the mountain scenery.
For your convenience, Thunder Bear includes free Wi-Fi and access to the Lake Toxaway Country Club amenities.

It was very clean, cozy (but not small), and there was so much to do. Lots of games and books and cooking space/good kitchen. Two large outdoor decks. Just lovely. It is pretty far from a grocery store, so budget time for a grocery shopping trip.

Large decks on 2 levels giving the feeling of being in a high tree house. It does not have mountain or lake views. The house could use a little TLC. The sliding glass doors leading to the main deck need to be replaced or repaired, the wifi needs to be upgraded (it does not work for > than 2 devices),the hornet nest in the eaves near the front porch needs to be eradicated.

A large lower area with a large tv, many dvds & a game center. The upper deck is located in the tree tops like being in a tree house, though, no real views of the mountains or the lake.The wifi was nonfunctional most of the time but management was aware of this problem. A very desirable location & we would definitely stay there again.
