Summary: The facilities are basic, but adequate for a nice relaxing weekend. Great location with private access to the water with many places to explore by canoe. It would be great to have some better photos of the facility to know exactly what was available before arrival. The placed was a little lacking in cleanliness, and missing some light globes.

Summary: The cottage is basic, but it's really neat, clean and all you need is there. The amazing part is the view: the lake right at your doorstep. Such a beautiful place, buzzing with wildlife. A gem!

Summary: We loved our stay here and did a long kayak everyday day (3 day stay). Kayaks were suitable for our family and equipped with paddles and lifejackets and in reasonable condition, all fully usable (hatch cover missing, and some of the carrying handles broken - all able to be used) - one double rated to ? 250kg but suitable for my large husband. 3 smaller singles suitable for me and kids (up to 100kgs ish). Sit on tops.. Retropspectively I would have downloaded the Nockburra Creek Paddle SA interactive map for Nockburra Creek before coming and taken my mobile phone as I did get a bit worried about the possibility of getting lost when heading upsteam and would have been more confident with an interactive map. We could also paddle downstream through the lock (free use but only during operating hours and they close for 1.5 hours at lunch time) which the kids really liked (although paddling around Loch Luna is much more scenic). Sheep and kangaroos crossing our full lake views every morning. There is no washing machine, no oven and no wifi, but I did get basic phone reception. Well set up and a good space. You need to bring your own drinking water (even for tea/coffee) but the water otherwise is fine for washing up/rinsing/showering and runs clear. Absolutely amazing scenery, peace and quiet and tranquility with outdoor and indoor seating options provided. Two queen sized bed (kids shared)

Summary: Beautiful back waters and creeks for paddling. No drinking water, take your own. Outside bins full. Pump on overnight, but not too noisy Effluent overflow outside on to suface across driveway. Plenty of room for additional camping.

Summary: We love our stay. We love the wildlife we see during our drives from the highway to the homestead and vice versa. We felt we're in the middle of nowhere on our own as the house was surrounded by a vineyard and with the lake in front. Our children enjoyed the place. They love kayaking as the water was so calm. Love the different species of birds you can see even if you're inside the house. All we need to bring was drinking water, toiletries and food. Everything else that's a need was there. 😊
