Summary: Checkin process wasn’t great, sent message requesting an earlier checking at 7am on the day, had to chase a few times and then never got a full reply. I eventually had to call. Upside: Estate is lovely, it’s safe. Downside: The lodge is quite dated, shower drain was blocked and breakfast was sub standard. I wouldn’t recommend.

Summary: Nice short stay. 40 min drive to Cape Town and to airport so wasn’t bad for early drive for the flight. Air conditioning wasn’t working on arrival but it was fixed for our second night. No air con was on at breakfast which would have been nice but the breakfast was nice. Didn’t stay long enough to use facilities but overall a lovely location and nicely presented hotel

Summary: Staff was friendly and helpful. First 2 days breakfast preparation need to improve but then after it was OK.Also improve on setting arrangements for breakfast, too many people booked but fewer tables arranged for family of 5.
