Positive: The dome sits on its own private deck high up above the fjord and commands fantastic views.
Negative: If you need the toilet in the night you have to go up the steps and across the way. But once there it is warm n snug. A kettle would be good for English folks. Buy food for your stay before you arrive there are no supermarkets /shops less than 23km away.
Summary: First time Glampers and a very unique experience

Positive: This was such a unique experience! We arrived just before check-in time and Freddie met us to show us the dome and things we should know about the bathroom, kitchen, and the fireplace. There was a storm moving in and by 8p the wind was fierce and we lost power until about 2am. We woke up to about 2" of snow. Thank goodness for the fireplace! There were 2 totes outside with extra wood and we definitely needed it. Marianne was excellent at communicating with us about what was going on and allowed us a late checkout the next day. Despite the power being out, the fireplace kept us warm. But we did need to get up every hour or so to add wood. The bed is very comfortable and very warm (and I'm a Floridian who gets cold easily). The bathroom facility is about a 20 sec walk. It's close enough during the day but seems miles away in the middle of a snow storm in the middle of the night! My husband said the shower was good. The lighting is very dim inside but good enough unless you're planning to do hair and makeup. There isn't any counter space for that anyway. We stopped at the grocery store on our way and used the microwave (we just picked up microwaveable pasta meals) in the dome to cook dinner. We didn't not use the kitchen facilities by the bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and we had the leftovers for lunch. Recommendations for the hosts - it would be nice if there was a bigger garbage can in the dome. We had brought dinner and snacks and didn't have enough room for our trash. I left it in the bin for the dirty dishes. It would also be nice if there was a mirror available in the dome. I travel with a small one and just used that to get ready in the morning. Recommendations for guests - men, bring a bottle to pee in if you don't want to stumble your way to the bathroom in bad weather. Women, don't drink too much wine before bed or you'll be making the trek, too!
Negative: Nothing! Even the Spring snow storm and power outage made for a magical stay!

Positive: It was a wonderful stay. The dome is very lovingly furnished and romantic. Everything is very clean and tidy. You feel right at home. The view of the fjord and the northern lights is spectacular. IThe dome and the house are surrounded by nature and you can watch wild animals like eagles. Very quite and beautiful place. The separate kitchen and bathroom are also well equipped and provide anything you need. The two hosts Freddie and Marianne are two truly magical and loving people who read your every wish from your lips. We felt very comfortable and are very grateful that they shared their experiences, thoughts, time and property with us. The evenings with them were very enjoyable and funny. 🥰 We take both of them and this lovely place to our hearts and will definitely come back. ❤️ An absolute recommendation for people who like it quiet, private but still well located. Simply fantastic.

Positive: 360 deg clear transparent polycarbonate carbonate dome at a secluded spot. Dome comes with a wood burning stove as a means to heat up the room but also enhances the ambience. Dome is cosy and well equipped for relaxation and enjoyment. Wonderful and friendly hosts provided a lovely breakfast spread catering to our dietary restrictions.
Negative: Outside toilet/bathroom and kitchen a little distance off. It's not convenient in winter.

Positive: The place is wonderful, a dream location in every season. I went there in the middle of winter with a friend, even though it’s more suited for a romantic getaway. It was December 10th, freezing cold with a snowstorm. There are no shops nearby, and my friend and I didn’t have a car. Despite this, the owners were incredibly kind and extremely accommodating, exceeding all expectations. In the evening, they went grocery shopping and asked us what we’d like, so we were able to enjoy a warm meal. The breakfast they leave in the igloo is truly abundant and could easily suffice as dinner as well. Inside the igloo, there’s a wood stove that creates a cosy and relaxing atmosphere. In winter, I recommend keeping it lit at all times, as temperatures drop quickly. Given the strategic location and the fact that you sleep literally under the stars, my friend and I took turns staying awake to try and catch a glimpse of the northern lights (and to keep the stove burning). Against all odds, despite the snowstorm, the sky cleared for a few minutes, and we managed to see a few faint lights. An incredible, dreamlike, magical experience. The next day, we were supposed to catch the bus at 12:00, but due to the snowstorm, it was delayed until 15:00. The owner was so kind as to let us stay in the igloo, as there were no new guests arriving that day. He restarted the stove for us and drove us to the bus stop, as it was bitterly cold. When the bus still hadn’t arrived after an hour, he came back to check on us. Just as we were getting into his car, the bus finally arrived. That day, we didn’t pay any extra fees, even though we had practically stayed in the igloo the entire day. I can’t wait to return in summer to enjoy the breathtaking views!
Negative: Enchanting place, with attentive and accommodating hosts who pay attention to every detail. The only minor downside is that the bathroom is about fifty metres away from the igloo. In summer, this isn’t an issue, but in December, having to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night meant fully waking up due to the freezing cold. But rather than this, everything is encredible!
