Experience life on a ranch with a gorgeous view of the Grand Mesa! Our "Barndominium" is a 2 BR (more like 1 1/2) remodeled upper level living quarters of an older barn. Enjoy roaming around 70 acres of horse ranch with 23 horses to learn their names and pick your favorite. Watch horses in training, chickens laying eggs pet the goats in the petting zoo. The cows and bulls are too. The star of the show for the kids is our miniature Donkey named "BoMama". Bring your pet and walk around our ranch to unwind and enjoy nature. Kids will love playing on the swing set/play house. There is a queen sized bed with an adjoining bedroom area to accommodate a comfortable twin sized bed. In the great room there is also a queen sized "Murphy Bed" for additional sleeping space. This is one of 4 rental properties on the ranch which makes for a great family and friend gathering or a fun space for a reunion or event, including weddings. We even have an RV space that can hookup to water and electricity for rent. Come check us out!

Summary: It was perfectly perfect!!! Cozy from the bedroom on through the living/kitchen and into the bathroom. The small deck was a perfect spot for me and Trudie each morning as i drank my coffee and she watched every move the horses made. Thank you Barb and David for being so wonderful. These are 2 of the hardest working people I've ever met and it shows throughout their ranch!!!

Summary: Overall we were pleased with the property. My only complaint would be the record setting heat of July was too much for the a/c in the living area. David told me he intended to upgrade the a/c in that part of the property. The a/c in the bedroom worked great. We weren't hanging out at the property during the afternoon so this was a minor inconvenience. Great location for exploring the Grand Mesa! We also went as far south as Ouray and Ridgway State Park.
