Summary: Let me begin with the positives. The bed was comfortable.Thw apartment had everything you might need. The location was exemplary.The view from the window was outstanding Our stay. was hampered by several things.First when we arrived and were unpacking we found a hornet walking across the bed,I ultimately kill 4 of the in the apartment before we completely settled in. The bathroom is very small. I am 6' 4" tall and the shower head was at my chest level. A big problem was that we did not find one piece of furniture comfortable to sit on. We were suppose to have wifi.We had problems connecting .I texted the host and heard nothing.If I had just received a response saying noone else has had a problem I would have thought maybe it was me.and accepted the issue.That having been said I have had no problem getting wifi in Mongolia,Peru China etc.With all of this in mind I probably would have planned on going back if there were comfortable furniture.

Summary: It was wonderful! I called it the "Shipwright's loft". For me it was the quintessential Maine experience. Staying above a shipyard workshop (Comfortably), enjoying the most phenomenal lobster in the world, plenty of things to do while I wasn't learning timber framing. And that view!! Absolutely beautiful!

Summary: I didn't have a problem with the stay but the place had an infestation with carpenter ants I didn't count how many I killed but in the seven I am sure it was at 1east 20 probably more

Summary: The Loft at Back River Bend is a unique and charming space. The high ceilings and wall of windows overlooking the bend in the river provide always-moving beautiful views. The Loft is well appointed with a rustic feeling and very comfortable furnishings; overall this is a Wow! And the hosts were always responsive and attentive. Thanks, Katie!

Summary: My husband and I rented this place for a week. We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and surien. Reids state park was awesome and not far at all from where you are staying and comes with a pass so you don't have to pay. There is also a lobster warf and little shops near by as well. My only complaint was the bed was a little worn and not that comfortable and no washer or dryer or microwave 🤔

Summary: Great little spot to rest, work and explore the area. The loft was clean, updated, with all you need. A 15 min drive to Reid State Park - a gorgeous place to walk your dog. There are multiple cottages on the large property but they are well spaced out. Very close, 5-10 min drive, to Bath for grocery shopping: a Shaws and a Bath Natural Market. Looking forward to a return visit!
