Positive: Naina has a beautiful piece of land in a very peaceful environment. 1 hour ride from Gangtok, located in a forest surrounded by the hills and mountains. Perfect spot if you wanna escape the busy city life and reconnect to nature. The accommodation is very comfortable and cosy. I especially enjoyed connecting with the neighbors kids and other locals who will show you around and invite you for chai. Naina itself is not staying there but can arrange everything you need easily. and her staff is very friendly and helpful. breakfast included and the lunch and dinner can be ordered. Food is very good although a little repetitive. Most important is the peace and calmness you can find their. you’re just surrounded by nature. loved it!

Negative: right now you can’t expect a completely neat and clean place as this is a work in progress project. they are still building other cabins. so construction is going on right now. but if you don’t mind a little bit of noise and some workers around, it’ll be fine. Also an almirah and a mirror in the room would be great. Booking.com is also saying free airport pick up is provided. But that is not the case (as the airport is quite far). but Naina organized a free pick up from Gangtok for me. so appreciated that! Just some small things as you can see. will be back once the construction is finished. I imagine a heavenly place once everything is done. 😌
