Summary: My partner and I had a great stay at the cabin. Upon arrival, the place was clean, stocked, and still smelt brand new. It had everything that we needed including bed linens, towels, kitchen appliances, cutlery, a BBQ, lifejackets, and kayaks! It's a short drive to Fenelon Falls - a small town to explore and visit if you need to pick up some groceries. Amanda and Justin were great hosts and were fast at responding whenever we had questions. I would 100% recommend booking here. Thanks for having us!

Summary: Overall very nice, the cottage itself was perfect. The only (small) negative was that the back yard could have been cleaner, garbage recepticals were full of garbage.

Summary: Booked a week at this location and the host replied immediately. The cottage is a new build and just lovely. Close to Fenelon Falls for any supplies you need. Would rent here again in the future. Thank you so much Amanda and Justin!

Summary: My husband and I spend a weekend at this property. The house is very nice, new and clean. This river front property is quite lovely with neighbours on each side. The closest town was nice to see as well

Summary: Spent the weekend with friends enjoying the cabin. It was well appointed and clean. Exactly as shown in pictures. Looking forward to coming back.

Summary: The great: Beautiful location on river. Brand spanking new cottage = clean and smells great. Lots of windows, lots of light. Hassle free check-in and good communication. Nearby nature walks and towns not yet tourist saturated. Linens provided, which is always a relief! The good: Neighbours are close, but respectful and quiet. Internet is decent for cottage reception. The good to know: The water is not potable - that's not unusual at cottages. guests should know that they will be provided with the first day's water, but must provide further drinking water themselves. Our Rogers cellphones did not receive service so we were unable to make calls, but text messaging was fine. Suggestions: I would put curtains on the bedroom windows and along the lower floor windows that face the neighbours for privacy, without losing the light. I would remove the fireplace until the breaker issue is solved. We avoided using it altogether out of an abundance of caution.

Summary: This cabin was beautiful! It was very clean and fully stocked with everything you need for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was very easily available if needed and responds very quickly. There were a variety of nice places to go for walks just a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Summary: I can’t put into words how amazing this spot is. From my booking all the way to our last day, this has been a dream of an experience. Firstly, you can’t go wrong with the price! I was able to afford a 5 day /4 night stay over March break - at a fraction of the cost of other cottages in the area. The cottage is brand new. It still smells like fresh paint and wood. It’s so fresh, clean and airy in here. It truly felt like ours. Amanda is a sweetheart. She would check in on us, answer any and all of my questions in record time, and ensured our comfort the entire time. It is extremely quiet in the area. The stars are brighter here than any other place I’ve been in Ontario. I cried. The lake views are calming and the wildlife is abundant. The town is about 10 mins away and you have everything you need there, if you need it! The cottage comes equipped with all basic essentials you’d need to be comfortable. The wifi is great- we had no issues with 2 kids and 2 adults streaming on our tablets/phones. Bring your nextflix/crave/Disney logins! DOG FRIENDLY!!! Need I say more? My dog needed this as much as we did. We will 100% be back for a summer weekend! I can only imagine how idyllic this place is in the summertime. HOT TIP: If you have younger kids - I would suggest bringing those blackout blinds with suction cups. Those saved us at nap time with how bright the sun is here! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to relax here, before it’s too late! The riverbed retreat is exactly that!! And our new family getaway spot! Thank you Amanda and family for welcoming us into your cottage. We couldn’t thank you more!

Summary: Very much enjoyed this cottage for our winter getaway. The cottage was clean and generally well taken care of. We appreciated the driveway and stairs being clear of snow and ice (and Amanda was quick to offer having someone come to clear the additional snow that fell during our time there). My dog made a new friend from a few doors over and I loved that the area was safe enough for them to run and play. I can easily recommend this cottage for a winter getaway.
