Positive: We stayed in Lon Cottage as an extended family group, myself, husband, 2 children, and grandparents. The cottage is very spacious, beautifully decorated, and furnished to a very high standard. It is very well equipped with everything you could need during your stay. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and made sure we knew that they were available for anything we might need. The dark sky allowed us to see so many stars and planets and even a view of the Northern Lights. Bird sightings from the outside seating area included Woodcock, Hen Harrier, Buzzard, Peregrine Falcon, Barn Owl, and Raven. Golden Eagle sighted not far from the cottage. It is such a good base for visiting nearby attractions. Dunkeld Cathedral well worth a visit, and the town has lovely shops. Black Watch Museum definitely a highlight of our stay. Dundee botanical gardens are worth visiting too..Reekie Linn waterfall is spectacular and not far away. Overall, this is one of the best places I've ever stayed and would highly recommend xx
