Summary: Great location. The house was clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The house is not fancy but homey and comfortable. Definately staying there if you want to be in the Sumpter area.

Summary: This home was very comfortable. Living area open and very clean. The kitchen had all amenities needed. Upstairs both rooms had plenty of space. Outside there was plenty of parking and space between neighbors. Highly recommend property.

Summary: We had a great relaxing time in this house. It has cute rustic decor, a well equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. We enjoyed our time walking through the town and around the gold dredge, picnicking at the lake and wading in the river. We can’t wait to come back!

Summary: So glad we found this new listing for our weekend trip to Sumpter for a family wedding. It was just what we needed. The house has been renovated and was very comfortable. All the necessities were provided, and the beds were super comfy. The stairs are pretty steep, but you’ll find that in any home that’s over 100 years old. We appreciated the downstairs bathroom. We couldn’t figure out the tv/Blu Ray combo to stream, but that’s ok, we really didn’t miss it. We will definitely stay again!
