Long Beach Island -- there's no place like it. Beautiful 2-Unit home in Holgate (south end of island) 50 feet from beach, 1 block from the bay. The house is being completely renovated for 2019 with new kitchens, baths, everything! The LOWER unit is the primary rental:
Large brand new kitchen that opens into Living room,
3 bedrooms,
1.5 Bathrooms,
Air conditioning,
Brand New front and rear decks,
Parking on lot,
Full appliances, grill, storage area.
Come take a week or weekend in LBI on the best part of the island. This area is where you can be less than a mile from the center of shopping and restaurants, while you relax in the quiet where there is little traffic and nothing to bother you in the world!

3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, front and rear decks, grills, parking, 50 feet from Ocean, quiet part of Island, close to entertainment and eating, multiple TVs, and DVDs, New kitchens, New baths, New carpet, new furniture.

The area: The area of LBI where the property is located is called Holgate (beach haven on the map). This is less than a mile from the South end of the island and is very quiet compared to much of the island, The house is about 50 feet from beach and about 150 yards from the bay, and is very nice. You can walk to end of the island and visit a bird sanctuary that is very interesting, and you are a short walk or bike ride away from the center of town!

Summary: You will not find a better place or owner in Holgate! The house was just like it looks in pictures - 100 feet from the beach - kitchen with everything and they even have chairs and bikes that they let us use. I cant say enough - and we're coming back!

Summary: My husband and I rented the bottom unit, along with my cousin and his wife. Four adults, plenty of room, and just steps from the ocean. Second house in from the main road, cross that road and your at the beach access. Lovely front porch where we ate dinner every night. The owner was upstairs for part of our visit. Great guy, visited with us out front and gave us a bit of the history of the house. Very nice, newish kitchen, completely appointed with everything we needed. Nice outdoor shower, which is a must for a beach house! We'd definitely come back!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this property. The property was very clean. It had all the amenities we needed. The big lot provides lots of parking. The porches are great for relaxing in the morning and enjoying the sunset. He owners were helpful. I have recommended the house to others. It's such a great location. There's a little "supermarket" within walking distance where we would pick up breakfast items, lunchmeat, etc... There's no need to visit the larger busier stores on the island. The house is so close to the beach that you can return to the house any time you need to. It's quiet at the end of the island but stores and restaurants are only a few minutes away by car.

Summary: Absolutely enjoyed our week at this lovely home. End of Island location was perfect for my adult family. Home is very roomy and very comfortable. Close enough to the beach to fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean. Large front porch was a haven for the family dog. Large kitchen and dinning area fit our needs well. Comfortable, comfortable, comfortable, what else does one need to relax.

Summary: A wonderful escape to a very pretty and quite part of the island. Close to the water and the bird sanctuary, yet far enough from the busyness of the town center. The house is clean, well equipped, safe, secure and accomodating to visiting friends and family. Interaction with the property owners is professional and friendly. I would highly recommend visiting off-peak as our family does for a peaceful, restful, fun vacation.

Summary: Where to start? I can't say enough about this rental. The house itself is modern, very clean and well maintained. It's located in a quiet neighborhood with very little traffic - nice for bike rides and walks and it's about 1/2 block from beach access. The kitchen has all the pots, pans and utensils you're going to need and the clothes washer and dryer come in handy when traveling with kids. (One tip: Bring spices, condiments and snacks from home and when grocery shopping, buy about half of what you think you need. You can always go back if you run out of something.) Most local attractions and shops are just a few minutes drive from the house. The owner(s) are very friendly and always available before and during your stay to help with any questions or concerns that you may have. I have stayed here multiple times and look forward to going back. If you're truly looking for a "home away from home", you won't be disappointed.
