Summary: We had a large family gathering for a wedding (11 people ranging from 11 to 89) and we were lucky enough to find Loups d'Or for our accommodation. You could not wish for better hosts. Marcel and Pimm greeted us with a warm smile helping us with our luggage and providing us with a glass of fresh water with mint which was much needed after a very long journey! As we needed to visit the local market and it was shortly going to close, Pimm offered to come with us in order to make sure we got everything we needed in time. Marcel and Pimm collected fresh pastries from the local bakery for us every morning and were always on hand to help with any queries. We had elderly relatives staying with us with various medical issues and Marcel and Pimm were so amazing with them assisting them to walk across the garden to our cars and helping them to get into the car. We really appreciated their warm and genuine manner. They had also thought of everything you would need for a comfortable stay and we were very grateful for the amazing selection of teas, the lovely coffee machine, the various items in the fridge and the really nice toiletries. The place itself is stunning! When you arrive, the beauty of the surroundings and the beautiful smell of the flowers in the garden greets you and immediately helps you to relax. The pool is lovely and clean and there were plenty of fresh towels and cushions available. All the rooms were very clean, tidy, well equipped and stylish with lovely paintings and music available to play. We also enjoyed playing the electric piano during our stay! The views from the dining area were spectacular and you can see so many stars at night. We loved the peacefulness of the area and were sorry to leave it. The surrounding area is a beautiful place to explore with a great mix of nature and interesting towns with cafes/restaurants etc. We would wholeheartedly recommend Loups d'Or to anybody and will look forward to visiting again as soon as we can. Thank you so much Marcel and Pimm, we will treasure our memories of staying there.
