2 Bedroom Apartment in Hastings

The apartment opens onto the garden of our Edwardian house, above the old town of Hastings. The main bedroom has a comfortable four poster bed, the second bedroom has four poster bunk beds!
The flat has a modern kitchen including dishwasher, a bathroom with walk-in shower and a lovely living room with French windows and a cosy ‘living coal’ gas fire to warm you after a bracing autumn walk. The apartment is ideal for four people but the sofa in the living room converts into a small double bed for one or possibly two.
There’s lots to do in and around Hastings. The old town, the seafront and the country park are all just a short walk away, so whether you fancy antique hunting, beach combing or blustery walks, you’re sure to find plenty to keep you busy. Walking down through the old town to the seafront and Hastings Contemporary Gallery takes about 15 minutes. We are situated 1.5 kilometre to the old town and 2.3 kilometres to the new town.
We generally have a minimum of two night stays but, if you would like to stay for one night only, then please contact us to discuss whether this will be possible.

Summary: Perfect location for 2 nights. The owners, Claire and Andrew made us very welcome and gave us helpful tips on what do do in Hastings. Very clean, comfortable accomodation and beautiful garden.

Summary: Spotlessly clean and within a 5 minute drive of the beach/town centre or a 15 min walk away. Quiet location and spacious rooms. Very comfortable double bed. Lots of storage, equipped kitchen with basics - salt etc. On-street parking with spaces available. Great communication from hosts. Would book again!

Summary: Andrew and Clare are absolutely delightful hosts nothing was too much trouble for them.The apartment was very cosy and yet spacious absolutely immaculate throughout it’s ideally located and there’s even a slight sea veiw from two of the rooms.would definitely recommend this place and hopefully we definitely be coming back.

Summary: The appartment is very beautiful, cosy, clean and calm and ideal for a family with kids. The owners Clare and Andrew are very friendly and helpful and supported us out with maps and recommendations about the area and train and bus-use. We traveled with our own car from Germany and it is possible to park close to the house. It is okay to use the pretty garden.. We really, really want to recommend this offer! We had a perfect stay there at Clares and Andrews house and want to say thank you for all. We would like to come back, if we come back to Hastings / Sussex.

Summary: Beautiful space, perfect as a base to explore the area. Garden is immaculate and with a lovely veranda area to sit outside. Clare and Andrew were welcoming and helpful. Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils you may need and also some condiments. Lovely bathroom with a great power shower and plenty of hot water. Bed was really comfortable. Lots of local information leaflets and games (plus Lego) to keep all ages entertained if the weather is not kind.

Summary: My husband, infant and I stayed for three nights at this wonderful rental. We appreciated the impressive antiques in the home, the beautiful gardens, and the warm cozy fireplace. The place was incredibly clean and had everything we needed. We bought some groceries in town and made breakfast each morning. Clare and Andrew were both very kind and helpful when we needed them. The flat is a nice walk into town through pedestrian walkways. Our baby is still small enough that she was very easy to carry up and down the hill, but when we needed to take a taxi, it came quickly and brought us into town for a very affordable price of six euros. The bus route can also drop you off a block away from the house which we utilized a few times. Andrew recommended a few restaurants that were delicious. The flat was perfect for our needs and we would glady return.

Summary: Warm welcome we received from Clare and Andrew. Absolute lovely people to talk to. Clare helped us for our trip and informed us with a perfect kids walk up to the east cliff. House is perfect for a family (we have 3 kids). We could use the garden and had breakfast there in the sunny morning. We absolutely enjoyed this garden! Easy walk to the Hastings center.

Summary: We were now guests for the second time in this well-kept, cozy accommodation with a view of the beautiful garden. The location is very quiet and perfect for walks into the old town and on the west and east hills. The landlords are very nice and helpful.

Summary: I am not sure where to start...this was a great base from which to explore Southeast England. Beautiful flat with comfy beds overlooking a lovely garden and view of Hastings. I was a little worried with our 6 foot boys that they would struggle with the bunk beds but they had no issues.We found on street parking was always available. A small grocer around the corner is nice and laundry is not to far away.
