Negative: Nothing springs to mind - even the public car park was only a short hop and a skip away!

Positive: We had a most enjoyable stay at the Laindons. Its a beautiful house and the owners/staff are very welcoming and friendly. We loved the breakfasts especially, some great choices and top quality ingredients - beautifully prepared and presented. The Laindons is in the middle of Hight Street, only yards from a passage that leads directly to The Bourne car park, for which we were provided with an overnight pass.

Negative: Cannot find fault with anything.

Summary: We stayed in the Yellow Room and loved it!

Positive: Visiting Hastings for the first time as an adult I found more to the place than a pebble beach, ice cream and noisy arcades. The old town remains astonishingly unravaged by development so life goes on much as it was from the 1400 – 1800s. The Laindons itself is comfortably renovated, very clean and managed by lovely hosts.
