Lovely views over garden and village park from the windows and from the charming private deck off the living area; guests are welcome to stroll the property grounds with its riverside views. Free parking is provided onsite. Apartment features cathedral ceilings and cork floors in main area, ceramic tiles in bathroom and utility area, new carpet in bedroom and on stairs. It offers a full kitchen (fridge, stove, oven, kettle, microwave, toaster, dishes, pots, utensils, etc.); separate bedroom with double bed, large closet, all linens and towels supplied; full bathroom (bathtub with shower); washer and dryer in utility area; open concept dining/living/reading area, including satellite TV and internet access (wi-fi), and a range of information on local attractions and activities. Ideal holiday accommodation for one couple with potential for third person on day bed in living area. Please Note: due to the stairs, this apartment is not wheelchair accessible, and it is strictly no smoking (of any kind) and no pets. Excellent cycling country, exceptionally good birding and eagle-watching; miles of unspoiled beaches, unparalleled hiking along rugged terrain, or gentle strolling through vineyards, orchards, and historic Acadian dykelands. We are an hour and 15 minutes drive from Halifax International Airport, 2 hours from the Digby Ferry to St. John's, New Brunswick, 2 hours and 45 minutes drive from Yarmouth and the ferry to Portland, Maine. The regional hospital is in Kentville (15 minutes drive from Canning).
