Footprints in the Sand is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage that will sleep 7. The cozy cottage is ideally located on the beautiful north shore of Prince Edward Island, home to many of the Island's most treasured beaches.
In the master bedroom you will find a queen size bed, the other main bedroom contains two twin beds, while the third and smallest bedroom contains a twin daybed. In the living room, there is a brand new high quality couch that converts to a pull-out bed. Each bed comes with fresh bed linens and all bedrooms are equipped with alarm clocks. Also available is a playpen for those needing to accommodate babies/toddlers.
In the bathroom, you will find a full size shower/tub, with removable shower nozzle to make showering kids easy. Fresh towels and facecloths are supplied and are located under the bathroom sink.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to make yourself at home, including fridge, glass top stove, dishwasher and microwave, pots/pans, bakeware, utensils, dinnerware, coffee maker, toaster, etc. While in the laundry room you find a washer and dryer. Also, some staples are provided such as toilet paper, paper towel coffee, tea, sugar, etc.
As frequent travellers ourselves, we know the benefits of travelling as light as possible and so we have aimed to equip the cottage as best as possible for arriving guests. Beach towels, beach chairs, beach blankets, beach toys, children's books, lego, puzzles and marshmallow roasting sticks are some of the things you will find. We have also supplied a large pot, great for cooking the Island's famous lobsters, and BBQ.
Outside a spacious yard awaits. Spend some time relaxing on the front or back deck, or take in some time at the firepit in the backyard. Summer vacation is simply not complete without some roasted marshmallows.

Summary: My family had a great time. The beach is a 10 minute walk away and is by far one of the best beaches on the island, especially if you have a dog. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers and there was more than enough space for us in the house. The 2 decks were nice because if it was too hot on one side of the house you could switch to the other one. Michelle had all the amenities on hand that you need such as toilet paper, paper towels and cleaning supplies. Thanks for a great vacation Michelle!

Summary: I found this cottage to be quite charming and located very close to one of my favorite beaches on PEI. The owner was very responsive to all my questions, and quick to respond. They had everything available that one would never think to take on vacation. I would definitely recommend this cottage!

Summary: Well-outfitted little cottage within easy biking distance to a lovely uncrowded beach. Three perfectly-sized bedrooms and a versatile living/dining/kitchen make this value-priced cottage an outstanding getaway. Satellite Internet service (and all that implies) and television, full-sized laundry, and modern appliances complete the package.

Summary: The pictures do not do this cottage justice. It is spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. With two big decks and a huge yard, there is lots of room to play and relax. Both the beds and the big leather chairs in the living room are very comfortable and made for some serious rest and relaxation. The kitchen is very well-appointed and a great size for preparing a small breakfast or a huge feast. The owners have thought of everything, from toys for the little ones, frisbees for the dog and beach gear for the adults and we felt as if some family member had anticipated our every need. Last but not least, Thunder Cove is such a beautiful place. From daily walks on the beach, Teacup Rock and the red cliffs, sunsets over the water and spectacular night sky viewing, this was the most restorative vacation we have ever had on PEI.

Summary: We found this cottage very comfortable and clean. A lot of detailed attention has been given to providing all the comforts of home and beautifully decorated as well. It's close to the beach,just a nice walk away plus within easy driving distance to several tourist attractions.

Summary: This cottage is very close to the beach. It's so beautiful there. We had a great stay. The cottage was immaculate and the kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. The beds were very comfortable too, I slept like a baby every night. Would definitely book here again.
