Summary: Tom’s cottage was perfect for a short weekend away with close friends. The property was beautiful with perfect views of the lake and the foliage. The cottage was updated and had ALL the amenities to ensure your stay was exceptional. The pastries and fresh bread and butter were wonderfullly delicious and appreciated. Summary: Everything was as described. It was the perfect escape by the lake to decompress and enjoy the surrounding area. Host was friendly and called before the arrival date. He went over a few things and answered questions. He left some fresh bread and baked goods to enjoy and everything I needed was available. The only issue I had was with the coffee maker which just needs some maintenance. My dogs got to come and enjoy the lake and some great walks as well. Good fishing off of the semi-private beach, 4 bass averaging 2-3 lbs., that I could land. It was difficult because of the bank, bring a net and watch for wildlife if you want to fish! The cottage and location was exactly what I was looking for. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you want to enjoy the lake and do some hiking.

Summary: This is a well-equipped cottage with a great porch for reading, visiting and enjoying the wonderful view of Lake Waramaug. The king bed was very comfortable and the owner was prompt in replying to messages and very easy and pleasant.
