Summary: The place was well-cleaned and usable. We paid for a late hour until noon, but the cleaner knocked on the door at 10:00 and did not understand a word of English when I tried to explain that we had paid for the extra hours. My wife and I exited withing 20 minutes.

We were concerned at first when we approached the apartment. But donโ€™t let the exterior fool you. Inside, the apartment is well-appointed, nicely furnished, well-equipped, and very clean. Our host, Charlotte, was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. She was a delight to work with. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The Metro was just a few blocks away. Overall, a very good choice for us.

Summary: Stayed for a week to see the sights around DC. The apartment was clean, quiet, and close to Trader Joe's, restaurants, and the best coffee we've had on a trip (the Coffee Bar is just a short walk away). Was a very pleasant stay!

Summary: The location was great, we used the metro and bus the whole trip with ease. Both were very close by. Self check in is fast and easy. Bed was comfortable. Head to the whole foods to get your basics; there was only instant coffee, not for me! Would recommend.

Summary: The apartment was very nicely appointed and clean. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. We had a few small issues and Charlotte was quick to respond. Be aware the one bathroom is attached to the bedroom. If you have additional guests using the pull out sofa, they must walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom. The apartment is walkable to pretty much everything. However, the walk can be anywhere from 1.5 miles to almost 4 miles (Jefferson Memorial) to your destination NOT including the walk back. You also need to account for all the walking that you do when you get to your destination, including back to the apartment. There were 3 of us and we took an Uber to our destination in the morning ($12-20) spent the day sightseeing, ate dinner, and walked back to the apartment. We walked anywhere from 4-6 miles a day 5 days in a row. Probably not practical with small children or those not capable of walking long distances and being on your feet for most of the day. Trader Joe's is a 0.4 mile walk. If you like ice cream, Jeni's Homemade Ice cream is across the street from Trader Joe's. We parked our car on the street right outside the apartment and never moved it for 6 days!
