Lovely, recently renovated apartment in 19th century villa, one of the five most beautiful streets of Amsterdam.
Great canalview, peaceful and quiet ... yet walking distance/around the corner from restaurants, bars, market, coffee shops, shops, the zoo and museums.
The location is very unique; according to "'undiscovered Amsterdam" it is one of the five most beautiful streets.
Situated in the east of the center of Amsterdam; 10 minutes bicycling or tram from Dam square. Bicycle rent just around the corner. Car parking nearby. Tram around the corner. Very close to the center, yet still the real Amsterdam ...
Very suitable for a longer stay or a trip with family or friends, or just a short visit.
The apartment is on the top floor of the villa (2 stairs up) and has a really magnificant view on the canal.
It consists of two rooms that can be paid individually or together.
Both rooms are nicely decorated and have two separate luxurious beds; each room with a bathroom and toilet.
The apartment has access to a fully equipped kitchen (stove, cooker, dryer, dishwasher, fridge, washing machine).

Summary: We had a great time in Amsterdam. Wessels place is a nice spot for families, outside of the main hustle and bustle but easy enough to get in via tram - especially the zoo.We got a great view of fireworks over the canal from the top floor windows.

Summary: Wonderful hosts. Helped find a Dr. when we showed up sick and it turned out to be a very quick and easy Dr. office to go to. Helped with bags and left lots of necessities in the fridge. got back to us really quickly with any questions. Lovely view of the canal. I always wanted to stay on a canal. Grocery stores and tram lines are close. Lovely and interesting city.

Summary: Wonderful location close to public transport and museums. Wessel is very helpful and assisted with carrying our luggage up and down the stairs. The accomodation has all you need and very comfy beds.

Summary: Warm welcome to a beautiful two bedroom apartment that was comfortable, well equipped and with a beautiful view overlooking a canal in the front and garden in the back. It is located close to restaurants and we also walked into downtown. The host met us and was easily available if needed. It is at the top of the house and therefore 3 flights of stairs. Would recommend apartment and host.

Summary: The host was very responsive and offered us a home away from home. Extra things were left in the fridge, the kitchen is very well-equipped. The location is spectacular, we used public transportation for easy access to all major areas we wanted to explore. Restaurants and stores are close by that made everything so accessible. Many small touches were added to the apartment that made it feel so comfortable. When we had questions, Wessel was always helpful with tips and answers. When we return to Amsterdam, this is the top choice of place and host!! 10 out of 10 - easy!!
