Summary: The place was more spacious than expected from the ad. There is a separate kitchen, which had everything we needed, and a generous supply of food items. The location was perfectly situated with just a short drive to beaches and the gorgeous Nisene Marks Forest. Shopping and ample restaurants are nearby. The family lives upstairs and there was hardly any noticeable noise. We had all the privacy we needed. Host was very helpful and communicative. Highly recommend!

Summary: Charming is right! Julie's studio is delightful and made the perfect base for my exploration of Santa Cruz County and Monterey Bay. The location is Heavenly, with resident hummingbirds and butterflies and views out over the water, and everything I could have wanted was provided, down to a caraffe of filtered water in the fridge. Julie is an extremely giving and generous host and her love of the area is infectious. I have nothing but good things to say, I definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance!

Summary: I was in Aptos for 7 nights (Sunday afternoon through Sunday morning), and enjoyed staying here. I appreciated having a fully functional kitchen and stable wifi, which made it easy to meet my work needs (half days in US/Eastern mornings) while allowing me to maximize my visiting time with elderly relatives in the area. Great location, if a little difficult to find the first time.
