Positive: Decor, quality furnishing, kitchen, quality beds & bedding. We liked the size of the property, gardens, and outdoor areas. Located close to Mittagong centre, shops, and restaurants. However, on a very quiet street. Good heating options, good showers and fast hot water system. Well stocked kitchen cupboards.
Negative: Small amount of long life milk would have been helpful. No washcloth/facetowell in bathrooms. Step outside front door was worrying....perhaps highlight the edge as very hard to see the edge/difference between the 2 levels of the wooded veranda front door area/steps.
Summary: Great find and luxurious weekend in Mittagong.

Positive: Great decor. Loved the layout. Very clean. Heaters in each room made nights pleasant.
Negative: King room ensuite shower drain wouldn't drain quick enough to stop water backing and and flow to the remainder of the bathroom.

Positive: We visited when Sydney was in lockdown for Covid. The location was just far enough off the highway to not be caught up with cases, but close enough that it was easy to get to. The house was roomy with a huge back yard - although it was too cold to make much use of it. The house itself was warm with heaters in most rooms and electric blankets on the beds. The kitchen was generally well appointed and the coffee maker got a work out.
Negative: We had a couple of minor quibbles - there was no potato masher so we had to use a fork, and while the fire was set when we got there, it had no kindling so it didn’t take, even with the fire starters that were provided.
Summary: Great place to get away from it all.
