Positive: Beautiful property, lovely surroundings ! Dog friendly ! Allowed us to check in early ! Owner was extremely helpful when one of our dogs ran off in the fields behind ! Excellent facilities including the sauna which unfortunately we ran out of time to use !
Negative: Had no communication prior to check in ! Had to phone the owner for the key safe code ! Accomodation was bitterly cold, heating had not been put on prior to our arrival, took ages to warm up ! On everyone of our other stays at various other locations we were greeted with a welcome pack, nothing here , anything would have been appreciated ! The toilet door didn’t lock and the utility room door to the garden was temperamental !
Summary: Overall very enjoyable, attention to detail tainted our stay !

Positive: Spacious lodge with everything you need for a perfect weekend away. The location is rural with lovely walks literally on your doorstep. Dogs are allowed which is a bonus and the back garden is super secure. Lovely set up will definitely be back!

Positive: The photos of this property do not do it justice. The property is a lot bigger than it looks on the photos, the whole property was really clean and immaculate. The kitchen is stocked with every piece of crockery etc. that we needed. There are several supermarkets within driving distance and lots of walks to go on. The welcome pack is very informative and has everything in it that you need to know and the use of a key lock box at the property made the arrival really smooth as we were unsure of what time we would arrive. The host is so lovely, and showed us how to work the sauna, gave us tips around entering and using the swimming pond, advised us on good walking route and also gave us information about the wildlife around the property to look out for. 10/10 stay from start to finish
Negative: That we didn’t book for longer.

Positive: Easy to find and park directly outside, the owner came out to greet us and introduce himself and give some information about the land and property etc. very pleasant.
Negative: WiFi connection not great and was intermittent so challenging to work, but forces you to down technology so if coming for a break from it all I suppose not a problem. TV old school not a smart Tv but to be honest was no problem and was charming in its own way - we enjoyed our stay.

Positive: A very short break to use as a base for an event in Stowmarket which was about 5 miles away. Converted farm buildings with high ceilings and attractive beams. Very spacious and well equipped. The shower was particularly good. The kitchen was very easy to use. Bed comfortable,
Negative: Large number of dead flies in the morning on all floors but presumably a seasonal thing and due to its rural location. Its a 6 acre site bit other lodges nearby so not quite as private as envisaged.

Positive: Plenty of room, very clean, beautiful surroundings.
Negative: Hard to criticise (but as you ask) we felt the bathroom and bedroom needed an extra heater when the temperature dropped quite noticeably during our stay. Otherwise no complaints.
