Positive: Really lovely caravan, excellent powerful shower, well equipped kitchen with gas oven and 850 watt microwave, even a dishwasher. It was super clean, the welcome note, bottle of wine and sweets were a lovely touch. Great for the dogs as they can stretch their legs and go to toilet in a safe, secured area. Lots to do on site including small funfair/playground for younger kids, mini golf, the olde sweet shop, owl sanctuary with meerkats in it and some lovely craft shops on site. There is also a large grass field nearby used for boot fairs that had a dog toilet bin on it so very good on site field for the dogs to take a walk on. Parking spot at the front of the caravan is also helpful especially unpacking and repacking the car, can fit 2 cars if needed. Nearby less then 30 mins away is HMS Vale in Melton where you can enjoy afternoon tea with some lovely cakes on the boat. They have binoculars for keen bird watchers too. Its also nice to find a truly relaxed dog friendly place without a string of rules to adhere to, all that is required is to clean up after them which goes without saying.
Negative: The location is a little isolated, there is a small convenience store on site but there aren't any local shops nearby. A price I was happy to pay to have so much lovely countryside around in a quiet spot. There is also a co-op 14 mins away in Needham. There is also cafe 24 on site for food during the day. It was exceptionally hot inside but this was due to a heat wave and the hosts thoughtfully provided fans to counteract that.The garden was cooler though and the umbrella was a big plus. A clothes horse would be helpful to hang damp clothes and towels on. There is also a washing machine on site located near the entrance.
Summary: Lovely space, well equipped, great for dogs and kids and peaceful.

Positive: The accommodation was more spacious than expected, my children and I had a wonderful time staying at Macey's. It also had very fast internet connection. We enjoyed the Owl Sanctuary.

Positive: Nestled away in the grounds of Stonham Barns, this caravan/mobile home, had absolutely everything you could need. From toilet paper, tea, coffee & sugar, to kitchen towel, dishwasher tablets & washing up liquid. It was well stocked crockery, cutlery & kitchen utensil wise too. The whole property was well appointed & very comfortable & it even had its own very lovely garden.
Negative: Having to leave 😔!

Positive: Stayed with my brother in this very clean and well-appointed caravan with everything you need for your stay, including fluffy towels, a well equipped kitchen (including soap and washing up liquid) and comfortable lounge area and dining area. Lovely touches of a bottle of wine on arrival and milk in the fridge for a cuppa with the supplied tea and coffee. We also found ice in the freezer, which was very welcome in this warm weather! Good sized double room.
Negative: Not alot to dislike really. Second bedroom a little small, but that's the nature of caravans 🤔

Positive: The caravan was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved it, had games for them and had the little garden next to the caravan for them to play it. We loved it. The kids left a little note for the owners too.

Positive: The home was beautifully prepared, and very welcoming. An unexpected amount of room in the living area, and very ample facilities - more than we were able to use in one night. Very comfortable bed. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast at the Cafe. Nice to be able to park our car right outside our home.
Negative: Shower tap needs some attention - it was extremely difficult to get it completely turned off. I think somebody needs to look again at the directions for finding the park within Stonham Barns - something wasn't quite right towards the end. Not a major problem and we did find our way without too much difficulty.
Summary: A very quiet (midweek), comfortable and welcoming place to stay.
