Summary: We just needed an overnight stay while moving to another state. It was so peaceful, beautiful, and comforting. We slept great, had everything we needed, and left on our journey refreshed. Fred was gracious and accommodating to our unique situation at the time. Thank you!!

Summary: Our host, Fred, is a fascinating, warm and welcoming person. The property is spacious, well maintained and the gardens/deck spaces very inviting places to relax. I highly recommend this property for anybody coming to the greater Wausau area. We came to the area to hike the 43 miles of the Ice Age Trail that run through Marathon County and finished on the last day. This property is roughly 15-20 miles from the various trail segments and Wausau has a fantastic selection restaurants to satisfy everybody's tastes. We will definitely return when we take on the IAT in Lincoln and Taylor counties.
