Relax and unwind in our tastefully decorated lakeview vacation home. This single story well-kept home comes with 3 inviting bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms that will sleep seven for true hospitality. Both bathrooms are conveniently attached to the bedrooms.
The Master Bedroom is on its own side of the house and offers a brand-new King Size bedroom set with top of the line brand new furniture and mattress; large bathroom with 2 separate sinks and walk in shower and bath tub. The additional 2 bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the house with the second bathroom.
Second Bedroom is large and comfortable offers a very nice and elegant queen size bedroom set with a very comfortable mattress.
Third Bedroom is also a nice size and offers a 2 full size bedroom sets with comfortable mattress.
Enjoy free Wi-Fi and comfort of watching SMART 4K UHD TV in living room and SMART TV in Master Bedroom and another TV in 2nd Bedroom. Fully equipped for your entire cooking needs kitchen has a lovely eating area overlooking lake. Other amenities include dishwasher, fridge, stove, and microwave. Kitchen and living room have accesses to spacious lanai and private pool. House has two car garage and very big driveway as well as washer and drier for your convenience. Roomy and airy living and dining room have sliding doors which can be fully opened to lanai on a cool day to enjoy coastal breeze.
The house is located in the quiet, family friendly and welcoming community of Nokomis. With close proximity to public tennis courts, championship golf courses, parks, schools, local restaurants and beautiful beaches you sure to have wonderful vacation.
Escape to a lake view , large heated in-ground pool, vacation house, located less than 10 minutes from Nokomis Beach/Casey Key. Yet, stores and restaurants are only a 5 min drive away.
Venice, FL is the “Shark Tooth Capital of the World” and the Caspersen Beach is one of the best shelling beaches in the world and an excellent spot
for finding prehistoric shark teeth! There are nature hiking trails travelling through freshwater and saltwater marshes, mangrove areas, tidal flats and outstanding opportunities for exploring and learning Florida wildlife.
Nearby Sarasota is filled with activities including the renowned Mote Marine Aquarium, the Ringling Museum of Art, the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens, Jet ski and sailboat rentals, and St. Armand's Circle (great for dining, shopping, or strolling) to name a few. For the more adventure filled days, Busch Gardens, Disney's Magic Kingdom, MGM and SeaWorld are all only 2 hours away. Check out Van Wezel theatre in Sarasota for some great concerts and Broadway musicals.
Other nearby beaches within short driving distance include: Blind Pass Beach, Englewood Beach, Casperson Beach, Brohard Paw Park Dog Beach designated to your special pet friends Downtown Venice Beaches and Siesta Key.

Summary: Our family had an amazing week - this was the perfect Florida vacation home! The house was exactly as pictured, super clean, very comfortable, and had just about everything you would need for a week long stay! Barbara was wonderful, quickly answering any questions we had. The house is located in a larger neighborhood off a busy road, but is nestled in a perfect location that you are secluded with a beautiful pond/lake(?) on one side - perfect for viewing Florida's wildlife! Definitely recommend!

Summary: Nice property in a quiet residential community. Our favorite thing was the spacious lanai overlooking a small lake. The bird watching and sunrises were amazing! Also appreciated the proximity to Oscar Scherer State Park and the Legacy Trail (although neither is directly accessible from the neighborhood). The house has many nice features but is showing signs of wear and tear: some stained furniture and rugs, broken floor tiles, musty cupboards. Also, although generally clean, we had to do extra vacuuming and scouring when we arrived to get it up to our admittedly high standards. If you have fragrance sensitivity, you might want to let the host know in advance. There were over a dozen air fresheners plugged in all over the house when we arrived. The host was quick to respond to questions/concerns.

Summary: Loved everything about this property! Location was spectacular - very quiet with a beautiful view of lake, but a close drive to restaurants and grocery. Pool was a nice size and very warm with plenty of towels and floaties. House was spacious and very clean, with lots of little perks - great selection of seasoning for cooking, plenty of cookware and dishes. Communication with host was easy. I rent a lot and this was the best by far.
