Positive: I would like to start by saying that our stay in Mathiveri was absolutely perfect. Our time on the island was 100% enjoyable. Staying at the hotel was very comfortable for our family. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the Wi-Fi worked very well, we had no issues with it during our entire stay. The greatest treasure of Mathiveri is its people, including the staff of Lux Inn and its owner, Nawaz. Nawaz was in touch with us from the time we were still at home and remained supportive even after we moved on to another island. He managed to arrange a speedboat for us on a Friday, despite the fact that Fridays are a day off in the Maldives and many services do not operate. He was extremely helpful and responsive, simply a great person. At the hotel, Shamil took great care of us. He met us upon arrival on the island, later escorted us to the jetty, explained everything about the island, available activities, and even advised us on where and how to exchange currency at the best rates. He was very responsible and attentive in his work. Special thanks as well to Mohammad, another member of the team, who came to assist us even late at night and always helped with our requests. We truly recommend this hotel and Mathiveri island. Come, relax, and enjoy the incredible nature and the beauty of the ocean here.

Positive: This accommodation is the best — very clean and surrounded by a beautiful tropical garden, close to the bikini beach. The food is amazing, with generous portions (they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner). The host and manager are always available and take care of everything you might need, with good deals for different activities. Mathiveri island has a relaxed, local, and romantic vibe that makes you happy after just a couple of days. There is also a local restaurant with delicious and affordable food, a charming café and bakery, diving centre, a large playground for children, and even a health centre nearby. It’s an ideal place for young families. The people are incredibly friendly and always smiling.

Summary: They are having a good time living here and make you feel welcome. We’ll be coming back!
