Very large luxury home on acreage lot perfect for large groups looking for a staycation. Sleeps up to 22 people!
Absolutely no parties or events at the home!!
This home is meant for a staycation/vacation home. Home is equipped with NoiseAware devices/Exterior Cameras to insure no unauthorized parties are happening.

We monitor noise levels inside and outside. There is also surveillance on the EXTERIOR of the properties that captures the front, side, back and pool/hot tub areas for safety reasons.
Please no music or loud noises outside the home
The pool can be heated for additional $150/day (must be on for the entire duration of the stay, cannot have heating for certain nights) - we not charge guests for this unless they request for it, as its very expensive to heat a pool using natural gas.
We have a private basement for you to use which you are more than welcome to have music and enjoy by the pool table but just keep doors closed so neighbors are not disturbed. Please note we purchasednee furniture for the media room, although still recliner leather seats they are now light brown.

Summary: This house has not been kept up to new standards. Still working on some kind of flood in basement. Grounds have weed trees taking over. Bedrooms have one or two beds in them and almost no other furniture. Only one of double oven worked and the hinges were broken on it. But we had fun. Anytime you can get together with your family in a house where you can spread out it is good. Pool was great for kids. Cold but they swam every day. Playground was loved by yougest kids. Lily pond was beautiful. Outdoor dining room was used every day. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Some of us walked arouns every day and found the foot path to walk. Close to stores for groceries and to Cloverdale and surrey museums (free). 45 min drive to Vancouver gardens but only 15 to white rock and surrey beaches. Warm water but shallow.

Summary: Our group held a staycation at this beautiful house. Overall great time. Overly tired parents past the partying stage of life wanting to give the kids a memorable vacation. I'd say it was a win.*PROS:* Paul was easy to talk to; attentive/available when required. I appreciated his promptness! We required a pack&play and he bought one for our arrival with a new baby blanket/sheets (didn't end up using them as we brought our own) but that was above & beyond. BBQ'd a few times and the extra tanks available were great. The amt of space within the house with ample room for the kids to run around safely. Kitchen was stocked with basics. Beds were comfortable w/ clean sheets/pillows. *CONS:* A good amt of dust within the house, esp on ceiling fans, made for lots of sneezes! All bathroom fans were inoperable. We found our temp lever on our shower was broken off, leaving it at a scalding temp. Paul had a plumber visit the next day (on a holiday). The plumber wasn't able to fix it (req a specific special order replacement) but he wrenched it and left the temp at a warm level to allow us to use the shower. Shuffleboard was beautiful but not in working condition, lacking shuffleboard wax/sand. It wasn't worth calling up Paul; not a battle I wanted to pick. A basement bdrm had no window coverings which made it difficult for sleeping in. Basement smells, masked by several Glade plug ins. Paul knew of my worries going into this reso with a 2 yr old and a pool that wasn't individually gated. There was a gate that was secured to get out to the pool area however was shared w/ the rest of the backyard. Luckily it poured & the pool was closed. Prior to check-in, he noted no outside noise past 10pm but were free to use the hot tub provided we were quiet. Upon check-in, a note on the door indicated absolutely no outside use including hot tub past 10pm resulting in immediate cancellation/eviction. Misleading vs what was sent in the prior email. I mentioned to Paul that we were looking to unwind once the children were in bed. Paul agreed it was fine for adults to use the tub provided it was quiet. I can understand that in the past, parties may have left a sour note within the community hence the strict ruling. The grounds while beautiful, needed work. Outgrown shrubs, pieces of gardening equipmt scattered about. A shame given that the property could be a visual stunner in full bloom! Pros outweighed the cons. We had a lovely staycation.
