Enjoy a dream getaway at this Talisin certified Frank Lloyd Wright, 2800 square foot, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom property, nestled in the best of Laurel Highlands nature, just miles from Ohiopyle, Kentuck Knob and Fallingwater. Take in the sun on the back porch; enjoy the summer waterfall fountain, watch the stars from the hot tub and recline in the expansive living room, walk the nearly 4 acres of stream front beauty or simply "unplug" and soak in the quiet of this spectacular home. John Rattenbury was a principal architect and planner for Taliesin Architects until 2003. This home was much in the spirit of Wright's 1938 Life Maganize Dream House. Take time to visit in the home's library and learn more about it's history, while you schedule your trip to Fallingwater or Kentuck Knob!
While the water feature is a beautiful part of the landscape, due to weather conditions it is only operational from Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
**IMPORTANT CONNECTIVITY INFORMATION**
• Cell phone service (all major carriers) is almost non-existent at the property; however, Wi-Fi Internet is available.
• Internet is a data use based plan which is only intended for light browsing (searching for local attractions, booking reservations, checking/sending email, contacting TLVR representatives...etc.).
• No video or audio streaming is allowed by guests, which consumes data quickly.
• For those who need to work or do school work while staying at The Dream House, we offer the option to purchase GB's of data. Ask our sales team for more details.
Security:
For the safety or our guests and the protection of the property against criminal activity, all guests understand that, at a minimum, there is a “Blink” security camera type located at the front and rear entrance of the cabin to monitor access/egress and driveway areas. Security cameras are in use 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
Guests should not remove, disturb, modify or damage any part of the onsite security system. IF this occurs it will result in the loss of security deposit or added charges, which ever applies.

Summary: We love this place. Our second time staying here. This Frank Lloyd Wright inspired home is perfection! The kitchen, living room and outdoor space is perfect for friends to hang out together, cook and relax inside or on the patio. The new hot tub was a hit after hiking! If you want to visit OhioPyle area this is a perfect place.

Summary: Great property. Super location for access to Ohiopyle and FLW locations. Very clean and well maintained. Kitchen wonderfully equipped. Probably the best kitchen in any location I've rented through VRBO.. Home is really cool. We had two couples so we each had a bedroom on either side of the main portion of the house. Each had its own adjoining bath. Covered patio and fire pit were a great bonus. Property is beautiful with small creek running through it. Saw deer and other critters rummaging about in the morning when we had coffee on the patio. Would highly recommend.

Summary: Lovely home and property. We were thrilled with the quality of the home and cleanliness. The owner had the kitchen really well stocked and we made good use of the charcuterie board. Loved the outdoors and had all of our meals outside and then enjoyed a fire in the solo fire pit. Hope to return when the waterfall is turned on!

Summary: When we planned our trip to PA, it was imperative that we stayed near Farmington. We have family in the area and didn’t want to spend the whole vacation driving. The options were limited to a hotel that didn’t return calls and a resort that caters to royalty. We had never used VRBO before, but when we saw the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Dream Home, we fell in love. The beautiful home on the bank of a flowing stream, surrounded by wildlife and having very limited internet availability was exactly what this PNW family needed to unplug and relax. The home was very clean and well maintained. Being early spring, heavy rain and swollen water left the back yard little more than a marsh. It was beautiful to look at, but unusable for the most part. I can’t wait to stay again in the summertime to take advantage of the grounds. We had some unexpected visitors during the stay as well. Wild turkeys, ducks, ring-neck pheasants, and deer were frequent visitors to the yard in the mornings. It was wonderful to sit in the breakfast nook with huge windows to watch them play on the banks of the stream. Our host was very responsive to all questions, responding quickly and courteously. We will not have to worry about accommodations for future trips. The Dream Home is truly a home away from home for us!

Summary: A special property that beautifully met our friend group vacation needs as well as fulfilled a life dream of living in a Frank Lloyd Wright-style home. We loved that a decorated Christmas tree was lit up in the living room when we arrived! The kitchen had everything we needed with a cozy table for gathering. We dined well. Beds & baths met our different styles and preferences perfectly and we slept well. The full property and grounds are beautiful - especially the porch and river. The waether was nice enough to allow us to enjoy more than we anticipated. The location was also great for driving in from different places and plenty to do (if you want to leave!) not too long of a drive away.
