Positive: The apartment was in a great location and was only a 10 minute walk to the stadium, there was ample parking and many eateries/convenience stores within walking distance. The apartment was ok.
Negative: Unfortunately it was very cold, you could only put the heater on in the front room for 2 hours and in the bedroom for one hour. The mini heater in the front room was also not functioning correctly blowing out cold air so couldn't be used. The handle on the back of the living room door was broken so this couldn't be closed to keep the heat in the room otherwise we would have been trapped inside. The bathroom towel holder was broken and needs repair as it fell off the wall at a mere touch when drying my hands. the first bedroom the sheets were not cleaned and had crumbs in the bed and a stain on the duvet.
Summary: Overall it was an ok stay, if these issues were rectified it would have been an excellent stay.

Positive: Nice theme very pretty and accommodating very easy access and host was very helpful.
Negative: Just a tad cold however the weather isn’t the best. And the place was very spacious and open which is good but it was cold.

Positive: It was a good location for us as we were just passing through, and the bed was fairly comfortable. It was handy that we could park on the street.
Negative: There was only one fork, this made it difficult as there were two of us. The floor was a bit sticky and there was a window with no covering above the back door which let light onto the bed which made it tricky to sleep. There was very little communication about anything, we asked in advance about parking and got no response to that question, there was the ability to park on the street but it was a very narrow street and needed to be up on the curb.
Summary: Decent accommodations, reasonably clean and comfortable.

Positive: It is a nice unit inside and is extremely close to Elland Road for match days.
Negative: It is a shame because this apartment has so much potential if it was managed better and cleaned properly. To begin with the owner would not provide the lock box code for the keys until after 2pm on the day of arrival. As we did not have international roaming it meant we had to find a free wifi on our travels. Even then I had to ask for the code and did not receive it until about 2:20. So glad I was not standing outside in the rain without wifi. I am not sure what they thought we would do with an advanced code in Australia. If they are worried, maybe regularly change the code. We entered the apartment to a strong smell of marijuana. This should have been resolved during cleaning by airing out the unit. Because the smell was so strong, we went looking for a discarded bong. Instead we found a disgusting mess under and behind the couch, which obviously had built up over several months. Other areas of the apartment, whilst looking superficially clean were sticky at the touch. To me this indicates that the owner does not check or manage the contractor that is cleaning the unit. When we contacted the owner about the smell and dirt behind the couch, they were very apologetic and did arrange for the apartment to be cleaned again the next morning. This obviously was just a superficial clean as we continued to find filth. The shower waste would not drain, when we lifted the outlet it was again disgusting, obviously it had not been cleaned for months. The bathroom towel rack was broken, and whilst there are three hair and body soap dispensers in the shower, they were empty. The toilet seat is about to break and the cistern leaks. I could not find a hairdryer, which should be standard in AirBnB these days. There was only one fork, four knives and three spoons for supposedly a fully supplied kitchen for four people. The kitchen sponge was dirty and mouldy. Would I stay here again? It is a nice unit inside and is extremely close to Elland Road for match days.
